Staff was friendly but this motel has devolved into just a place to sleep for the night and move on quickly the next morning. “My travel there was in mid-April. There were no other guests/owners staying in the houses around the area, so it was very secluded and peaceful. I was traveling alone, so the size of the house was perfect. The water level of the lake was low making the launch of the kayak a bit difficult, but once on the lake, it was very beautiful! “Clean, small, but cozy. Pictures did not show surrounding properties as this tiny cabin was NOT on the lake. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the only access to fishing was at the boat ramp. All other shoreline and piers seemed to be privately owned. The grill was unusable due to filth. “We absolutely loved our stay! We had 2 families stay for the week and it was amazing! We were in the water everyday! The kids loved being right there on the water. It was on a dead end and we had plenty of space to swim, explore, and fish. It was peaceful at night sitting on the deck watching fireflies. The kids did smores. It was perfect. It slept us all nicely. The teenagers did not mind the bunkbeds. They loved the game room as well as all the board games. The owner was very nice and helpful...

“The host was absolutely wonderful. Reached out thoughtfully with detailed instructions, and made us feel right at home. Plenty of towels and everything you might need. However, it was a little stressful having two shedding dogs there because it seemed like the owner was very concerned about dog hair. Best for small dogs that don't shed much.”
