Villa Karyo is a brand new luxury villa 298 sqm which is located in a quite untouched area close to Rethymno away from the crowds, offering stunning and amazing views of the Cretan Sea and Mountains.

Karyo Villa offers the perfect and relaxing vacation where peacefulness is the main feature. With her ‘royal’ touch in design has everything for a comfortable stay and a peaceful getaway to refresh your mind and body!

The villa is built in two levels, in a plot ofm² private land, surrounded by trees, flowers and beautiful gardens. The property offers extreme privacy and it is ideal for families with children and group of friends. The accommodation is bright and spacious, very attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Villa Karyo has 3 comfortable bedrooms on the top floor, one master bedroom with en suite bathroom (Jacuzzi bathtub) and a separated dressing room. The second room is often used as an accommodation for children (double bed and sofa bed) and the third room as an assistance room. There is a common toilet for these two bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are with double beds and balconies.

On the ground floor it features a fully equipped kitchen with a four seated table and a bar with stools and a spacious living room with an imposing fireplace and a capacious dining area for eight. On the same level there is a spacious well-furnished office or study room and a small guest toilet.

Location description:
Episkopi (Gr: Επισκοπή) is a small town of the prefecture and county of Rethimno. It is located at the old national road of Rethimno - Hania, 15 km away from the city of Rethimno.
The town is built at 120 m a.s.l. overlooking the northern coast of Crete, and the green and fertile valley of Mousselas river.
Until 2010 it was the seat of the municipality of Lappeon and since january 2011 it belongs to the Municipality of Rethymnon.

Episkopi is the administrative and commercial center of the area, providing quite a few facilities. The main occupation of its 900 inhabitants is agriculture, producing mainly olive oil.

The name Episcopi means bishopric, and is common to many villages in Crete, that used to house in the past the bishop's offices.
The religious past of the area is obvious now to the visitor, as there are everywhere churches, some of them with remarkable frescoes.
The village of Episkopi is fairly old, and is mentioned at the archives having 446 inhabitants before 1583.
Due to its geographical location, between Apokoronas and Rethimno, it used to be in the past and especially during the turkish occupation, the theatre of numerous battles.
