Following the local architecture trend inspired by Venetian architects this House was renovated by local craftsmen with commitment, enthusiasm and respect. Standing as a fortress, the house is surrounded by high stone walls which enclose its authenticity inside. The result is a delightful haven with the space of a manor house and the feel of calmness and rejuvenation.

From the magnificent wooden door entrance bearing the family coat of arms, guest will review the strictly rectangular shape of the manor and the traditional old wooden roof with Venetian style arcs and carved stones, which have been reconstructed with every attention to detail, ensuring the traditional style is maintained.

The elaborate stone walls, the traditional lintel folding windows, the large stone arcs and the stone-built arches are all unique characteristics of the impressive local architecture which was deeply inspired by Venetians.

Where the interior décor takes inspiration from nature’s palette – fresh, colourful and inviting…Penthe Manor House lends itself to multi-generational get togethers, special gatherings and corporate escapes. Internal Living | Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The seamlessly constructed inner spaces and the internal decoration with unique and carefully selected furniture and light fixtures, the tall ceilings with their wooden beams and the intricate wooden staircases are perhaps best compared to an art installation rather than an architectural structure, and they are key in creating an intimate atmosphere that transports visitors back to the previous centuries.

The spacious living areas on the ground and first floor have independent entrances internally and they communicate externally through the spacious balcony with a stone staircase, as well as on the ground level via the courtyard entrance.

A wonderfully decorated bedroom is located on the first floor, boasting a mezzanine bedroom with a Queen Size bed (1,60x2,00), lightened up with natural light from the windows and with direct access to the balcony with patio furniture. In addition, there is a uniquely designed area with a sofa bed (with real mattresses, 0,90x2,00), where two more guests can be accommodated. From there, a staircase leads to the upper floor where the guests will be welcomed by the mezzanine bedroom.

The three remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. Following a wooden staircase you will be welcomed by the first bedroom, featuring a Queen Size bed (1,60x2,00), lightened up with natural light from the windows. There is also a sofa bed available in the bedroom, (with real mattresses, 0,90x2,00), where two more guests can be accommodated.

Last but not least, guests will be welcomed by the two further bedrooms on the second floor, both featuring single beds (0,90x2,00) and lightened up with natural light from the windows. Both of the bedrooms offer direct access to the roof terrace.

Bonus:
There is a Pool Table (Billiard| 6feet) available, designed for all skill levels and provides entertainment for your whole family. Great for kids and adults, billiards is a classic game that our guests of all ages truly enjoy. This specially designed area can accommodate two extra children if wished, in two folding beds.

The house also boasts three family bathrooms with shower cabin on the first floor. After a long day of exploration, a relaxing shower is a necessity and a pleasure to be reckoned with!
Penthe Manor House offer four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 adults and 2 children. (the two children can be accommodated in two folding beds, in the area where the Pool table is located.)

Outdoor living

Penthe Manor House is set in 560 m2 outdoor area with a 35m2 private swimming pool (1,40 metres deep) .The pool terrace is equipped with sun beds, so you can relax all day long enjoying the Cretan sun! Electric BBQ facilities are also available, offering a stylish al fresco space for enjoying an evening tipple in the lovely shaded outdoor dining area with a pergola.

Those looking to wholeheartedly embrace the "retreat" vibe can start the day with a rejuvenating dip in the pool or discover a secret beach for a sunrise sea swim. Simply relax end enjoy the tranquility of the place.
