“Very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The rooms are very modern and clean. There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests. The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help. Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala. We will happily come back again.”

“We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small. The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze. There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. “Bathrooms were very basic. Shower didn't work. No toilet paper. No wi-fi, though Hotels.com said there was free wi-fi. Bed sheets were dirty. Cook was rude. The sriver was nice and friendly ”

Vänligt och hjälpsamt bemötande både av kvinnan som serverade frukost, städade och tvättade och ägaren Mr Mathews. Han hjälpte också på ett bra sätt till och bokade flygplatstransafer, tuk-tuk till badstranden och utflykt på Backwaters.”

“A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!”
