bells and whistles
This house had so much going for it! Great location, huge space, every bell and whistle imaginable. Very well furnished and equipped. We had a lovely time, and I can't imagine a place we'd have enjoyed more.

Great house
Our family of 16 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. We enjoyed the spaciousness, pool and grill,fully equipped kitchen and exercise room. We would stay there again.

Family reunion
Overall, we had a good experience—16 family members, ranging in age from adult to infant. Opportunities for improvement include too hot on top floor with primary room and attached 2 queen bedroom. We called and the maintenance man brought 3 fans, which helped somewhat. Still remained hot and humid. As for the beds, they were ALL platform beds, meaning all were low to the floor and very difficult for those in the party over 60!! The fountains did not work in the pool, as depicted in the pictures. Several doors had no locks and it’s apparent that areas need to be updated! We did enjoy the pool and large kitchen area and plenty of seating!

The House is a Destination
The house had many amenities that made staying here so enjoyable. Everything is as advertised and more, with attention to details such as well stocked bathrooms and extra towels. Would go back with a group again.

Highly recommend!
Great home, conveniently located near town, the train station, and nice hikes! Stayed here with some friends and we loved that there was plenty of space to hang out in the beautiful backyard and eat meals together in the kitchen. Would recommend for a family or group of friends!

Wonderful house
This house was as beautiful as it seems in the pictures. There were 18 of us in the house and each of the rooms were spacious and we had more than enough beds with 2 to a bed (1 to a bed in bunk bed room). The hot tub was clean and easy to work. The house manager was easy to communicate with and there was no issue during check in or check out.

Great Family Home

Perfect place for a large family event
This was a perfect for our weekend. 11 of us stayed at the property for our daughter's wedding. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The theater room was great for Sunday football.

We are a family of twelve and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rhinebeck. The house met all of our needs - comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous amenities including a theater, fully equipped gym and wonderful outdoors with pool and kitchen. The house manager was responsive for any questions we had. Recommend this property without reservations.

An absolute treasure!
Spent the weekend with my closest family and friends here and I could not have asked for a better experience! The property is honestly breathtaking. The land surrounding it is stunning. There is a sound system hooked up for the pool and kitchen. There was so much room for everyone to spread out. The house was fully equipped with everything we might need. I highly recommend this property!

Great location, lovely property, incorrect bedroom count
This is a spacious five bedroom home in a bucolic setting. It can easily accommodate 12. The bunk room is actually a hallway with no egress in case of fire, except through other rooms. The access to two bedrooms is through this hall. The second “bedroom” on the upper level is actually an office accessed through the master bedroom. Again, this does not meet fire code. Safety is imperative in vacation rentals where guests are unfamiliar with floor plans. This is especially true in a house like this that is on four separate levels.

Perfect weekend
The property manager (Holly) and owner (Paul) were extremely accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I had several questions about the kitchen being that we booked a chef. Holly was nice enough to go to the house just to take photos of the plates they had available for use. Holly and Paul were still as helpful and responsive even 4 days after I’d been home already. The home is just as beautiful as it shows up in the photos and was clean and comfortable. The winter scenery was beautiful, with a sheet of white covering the surrounding area. I would love to book again in the summer. I would recommend this to anyone. It’s a no brainer.

Great house and property! Very large, comfortable and spacious for our large group of 19 people of 5 families. The house is very nice, but given a luxury rental there were several items that should be tuned up: Hot tub only worked 4 of 7 days we were there Heat didn’t work in 3 bedrooms, they came to fix promptly and put in a temporary solution but 3 bedrooms were unequally heated on the same thermostat A small leak in bedroom closet with rusty water Fridge was not always cold enough

Great place to host a family gathering.
Our extended family stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. It was the almost perfect place to gather and spend time together cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, beautiful living room, dining room that easily accommodated our large group, and have fun in the rec room and movie theater, and walk the grounds. I wish we had had more time there! The "almost" qualifier is the bedroom situation which is a bit tricky for adults, as opposed to young children and teenagers, as there are several bedrooms that require walking through other bedrooms. Still - it was an overall wonderful place to spend a few days and I think would be a great stay in any season. The caretaker was very responsive and checking in and out was super easy.

Wonderful Place for a Group
We rented this property for my 40th birthday with some friends and had a wonderful time! It was great location wise to the town, clean and a great setup for a large group. The property is well kept and really private, which was nice. We had a wonderful time and would recommend renting this place for sure!!

Amazing place for a nice weekend getaway!
Beautifu and spacious home with everything you can possibly dream of... Just a very relaxing setting , a real home away from home!! We went in the winter and really enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire pit. Can't wait to go back and enjoy that beautiful pool area and backyard!

Great Birthday Getaway with Friends
I recently spent time at this property for a weekend birthday getaway with almost 20 guests. The property itself is amazing and the pictures are very accurate. Paul (owner) was very responsive and accommodating for our group. Holly (prop. mgr.) was also very attentive and made sure we had everything that we needed. Our group hopes to come back again in the summer and use the amazing outdoor space/pool. Thank you Paul and Holly for a memorable weekend!

There were 16 of us away for a much needed, kid-free weekend, celebrating our 40th birthdays. This house/property checked all our boxes and did not disappoint! Perfect retreat
Four families (9 kids and an infant) all enjoyed a perfect weekend at this house. The grounds were amazing and everything in the house was perfect. The movie theater was a big hit and gave the parents some needed down time with the kids entertained. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will be looking to rent here again. Updated furniture, very clean, amazing outdoor set up. It was perfect

Nice Property, but Very Dirty
We arrived to the noxious smell of gas fumes from what we were told was a spill of gasoline from a power washer. The smell permiated the entire house. We (not the “property manager”) opened all the windows in the hope of airing out the premises. We ended up staying at a relative’s house the first night due to young children. We would have actuall just went to a hotel for the entire stay, but we were hosting an 80th birthday party at the house the day after we arrived. The floors in the house were extremely dirty, if you walked barefoot across a room your feet would be black. Rotten garbage was left in the kitchen garbage can (we were only able to smell this the next day after the gasoline fumes had gone away. There was trash under the family room couch. For a property at this price point that also charges a hefty “cleaning fee” we found this entirely unacceptable. Use this property at your own discretion. The pictures are very nice on the website, the actual property is quite different.

Good for a large family gathering
We had 14 including 4 small children, and had beds to spare. That said, the room layout is odd. Have to walk thru some rooms to get to an adjoining bedroom. OK for family, but possibly awkward w friends. Nevertheless, quite comfortable. The outdoor space is perfect. Shopping is about a mile away, and quite good. One of the guys rode his bike daily and said it was perfect. Took some great hikes, and climbed fire towers for pretty views. Suggested activities: The FDR home for sure,and give it 3 hours. Lunch at the CIA (get a reservation). Dinner at the Flatiron in RH was excellent (also, a reservation). Nice morning with the kids picking strawberries. Everything we did was a short drive from the house. Service and management---excellent. Had a broken toilet in mid week, and it was fixed promptly. The house is beautifully equipped and clean. High end linens. A cook's kitchen. There were condiments and spices from previous visitors, and I heartily approve---didn't have to completely re-stock the panty and fridge. Bottom line: Expensive, but would not hesitate to return.

Great Stay
Our group had a great stay at the house. Indoor theater, ping pong table, bball court, pool and bbq all made it a fun weekend. Rhinebeck is a really nice town and also some nice walks (Burger Hill, Poets Walk) nearby. We would happily return....
