Very conveniently located for easy town access. Breakfasts were delicious. There is a mini fridge with complimentary drinks. The room was very large and comfortable.

Amazing stay!
The room and house were so much nicer than the photos. Plenty of light in the bedroom. Everything about the stay was so easy and convenient and comfortable. We were in the architect's room. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was possibly the most perfect bath I've ever had. It was nice having a separate back entrance, so I didn't feel like I was disturbing the rest of the house when coming and going. Breakfast was delicious and they were so accommodating of my gluten-free request. Sandra even gave me the recipe for the lemon cake she served on Sunday. My friend who stayed with me had never stayed at an actual bed & breakfast and our experience this weekend has made her a b&b convert!

A great stay with great hosts.
First time I ever had a 5:00 cocktail hour with a free custom cocktail. Beds were great, and each room has it's own special experience. We stayed in the architecture room. The hosts were great, and the location was just a little from town center.

Sandra and George were perfect hosts! We loved our breakfast every morning so much! They had plenty of drinks and baked goods to munch on throughout our stay. The location was perfect! It was a 3 minute walk to town, but nestled quietly into the woods. The room was fantastic: spacious and the shower was luxurious! We will be back!!

Absolutely Awesome Stay at Baker House B&B
We absolutely loved out stay at the Baker House Bed & Breakfast and hope to return. George & Sandra are phenomenal hosts. Sandra's baking is extraordinary. George was incredibly helpful with luggage and details to make us feel right at home. Their property is lovely and the town of Rhinebeck is quaint. We were traveling to the Omega Institute for a weekend course but housing was full at Omega. We're so glad because we loved staying at Baker House Bed & Breakfast and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through this gorgeous part of NY.

Fantastic B & B
Amazing experience! George and Sandra were fantastic hosts. Cocktail hour was a standout... George makes a great drink, and is always ready for some engaging conversation. Sandra makes an excellent breakfast as well. Rooms were bright and clean, and the whole property is serene and relaxing. And the house being only a 5 minute walk from town is such a benefit. Looking forward to staying again.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Baker House in Rhinebeck. Our room was large, cozy and well appointed, with a new, large bathroom and double shower. Our Inn owners, Sandra and George Baker, were welcoming, warm and knowledgable about the area. They served us delicious breakfasts in our room each morning and were so accommodating. We loved the Inn's proximity to town and also to Hyde Park. We will absolutely stay with the Bakers again when we return to Rhinebeck for a visit in warmer temps. Lovely and memorable stay!

We had a fantastic time. Our host and hostess were just so kind and very informative. The house is very cozy. Our room, The Gardeners room, was just great with a private entrance. The town is wonderful with some pretty fantastic restaurants. We enjoyed every minute of our 3 days in Rheinbeck. Must see is the Poet’s Walk. On a sunny day it’s just breathtaking. This is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in Rhinebeck. It was my second time and if I'm back here I'd stay again. Comparable in price to other hotels in the area, it's far nicer in my opinion. Very nice hosts too and great, comfortable beds!

Wonderful, don't hesitate.
Beautiful B&B with welcoming, interesting hosts. Wonderful, delicious breakfast at a large table with other guests creates a welcoming atmosphere. Coffee, tea, soda and snacks available 24/7 in a public space. My room (the writer's room) was incredibly large with a huge private porch as well and a very large bathroom with a double shower. It had a private entrance which I didn't even use, but if I'd stayed longer I might have taken advantage. I enjoyed my conversations with the proprietor, George, a refugee from NYC whose historically accurate aesthetic permeates the property. The house is filled with antiques but does not lack any modern comforts (TV, Wifi, plus a short walk to town); I would go back in a NY minute. Worth every penny. (Thanks for the scones for the train ride home! Yum!)

The Baker House is a fabulous B&B run by a most delightful family: Sandra, George, Terry, Jerry and the next generation of Emily and Lilian who provided impromptu entertainment on occasional evenings. The B&B is well appointed with comfortable furnishings. Every mod-com was available. I could stay for weeks and will surely return for another visit.

Great Get-Away
An unforgettable stay with the Baker family! Great hospitality, warm and welcoming atmosphere, wonderful homemade breakfast with local products prepared by Sandra with great taste and love, an unusual happy hour each day (never encountered this on many other B&Bs); We stayed in the Garden Room which has a nice patio to relax; comfortable bed, huge shower, fresh flowers and water and everything spotless clean. On top of everything we had wonderful and interesting discussions about art, the Hudson Valley with all its exceptional places. George and his wife are committed collectors of art and antiques which one can admire throughout the house. The location of the B&B is very convenient in walking distance to the charming village of Rhinebeck with its many shops and great restaurants and within a few miles from Must-See sights like Olana, Clermont, Staatsburgh, Montgomery Place at Bard's College and of course the Mansions of Vanderbilt and FDR.
