Badrum: Med badkar, duschkabin och toalett .. LPG centralvärme, gas, el, sänglinne, handdukar och Wi-Fi ingår. Välkomst paket.. Gräsmatta trädgård med sittgrupp och trädgårdsmöbler. Cykelaffär. Privat parkering för 2 bilar. Ingen rökning.. The Lodge, som är ombyggt från tidigare stall, har renoverats vackert och ger en överdådig komfort på ett idylliskt landskapsläge, men ligger nära alla faciliteter. Du hittar verkligen ett öga för detaljer här, med sängkläder av högsta kvalitet, en härlig rik koppar och grönt tema i hela, och med mycket tanke efter att ha gått in på alla aspekter av fastigheten. När du bor här kommer du också att använda fältet bredvid The Lodge, där det finns vidsträckt utsikt över det omgivande landskapet. Detta är ett vandringsparadis med Offa's Dyke-gångstig bara 100 meter bort och ger dig promenader från dörren. Du hittar en rad faciliteter precis längs vägen i Dyserth, medan Prestatyn i närheten erbjuder ett brett utbud av butiker och restauranger.
Det finns mycket att utforska i området, från de underbara Dyserth-vattenfallen till sandstranden vid Prestatyn! Besök det mäktiga Edward I-slottet i Rhuddlan (det är en UNESCO: s världsarvslista) eller ta en show på teatrar i Rhyl eller Llandudno. Den viktorianska badorten Llandudno är väl värt att besöka, för den natursköna resan runt Great Orme, ta en tur på spårvagnen eller besöka de historiska koppargruvorna i bronsåldern som finns där. Den muromgärdade staden Conwy ligger också inom räckhåll, liksom den förtjusande trädgården i National Trust i Bodnant, som ger blommig överflöd året runt. Pretty Betws-y-Coed, porten till Snowdonia, är väl värt att besöka, medan i den andra riktningen är den historiska staden Chester, strax över gränsen till Cheshire, bra för dagsutflykter. Här kan du besöka den historiska katedralen eller poppa in i en av butikerna i de unika raderna i stadens centrum. Stranden 3½ miles. Butik och pub ½ mil, restaurang 3½ miles.

Stayed here to avoid fireworks in suburbia with our terrified staff. Like many other people we have stayed in many and this is just outstanding there really is everything. We will be back loved the location too total peace and quiet. Vinnie our dog loved it too

We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Lodge, it is beautifully presented well maintained, with lots of goodies on arrival, there has been a lot of thought gone into providing many extras that in all the cottages we have visited over the years nothing compares to The Lodge. The garden is enclosed great for our dog, with the extra of a paddock which we didn't use as it was in use by the local farmer. It's lovely and warm with lots of cosy lighting. Used the roll top bath with candles flickering(battery) its good for exploring the area and Anglesey with ample parking. We were sent an email before our arrival with a very extensive information pack so you could see what you needed to take. Really just yourself and a bag !!All in all good value, if there is anything that could be added, aTV in the kitchen and easy chair, we spent a lot of time in the kitchen with having the dog . Well done to the owners.

From the moment we stepped inside we felt at home. Spotlessly clean with a more than well equipped kitchen with quality utensils & crockery & patio doors leading to the garden with a covered seating area. The welcome pack was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Lovely bathroom, enjoyed the bath (flickering candles) & excellent roomy shower. Quality toiletries too. Cosy, stylishly dressed living room with an interesting selection of coffee table books. My favourite was the bedroom... stunning furniture & quality bedding. The peaceful silence & darkness at night was perfect. Loved the copper & green colour theme throughout the cottage. Our spaniel absolutely loved the outdoor space with the additional use of the paddock and the provided dog bed, blanket & towel was a nice touch. All the finishing touches from cotton buds to dressing gowns and house slippers were well thought out. The lodge is far enough away population to feel secluded yet only minutes away from the small town. We enjoyed trips to Dyserth waterfall, Prestatyn, Rhyll, Rhuddlan Castle, Conwy & Llandudno as well as a good few local walks. The only addition I would maybe make is a comfy seating area in the beautiful kitchen as we spent a lot of time in there with our dog. We will definitely return. Thank you Carl & Charlotte.

The Lodge is a truly outstanding holiday property and we had a lovely 3 night break. The decor is gorgeous and everything is sparkling clean. The quality of the bed linen and towels is great and the bath is to die for! We've stayed in many holiday cottages but this is simply the best in terms of comfort, privacy and all the little extras that are provided-quality toiletries, bath robes and slippers, a really thoughtful and useful welcome pack of breakfast items and cake. We honestly didn't need half the stuff we took with us. The wi-fi is very good , the bluetooth speaker in the kitchen was great for listening to podcasts or music as we ate and the covered seating area out the back festooned with lights was very useful as we had a bit of rain during our stay. The location for us was fab-a nice walk down to the village and beyond and a calorie burning walk back home. All in all, we had a fantastic break in this excellent property-we could happily live there!

The owners have thought of, and supplied, everything you could possibly want or need to make your stay a total pleasure. The property was equipped to the highest quality and standard throughout and the decor was tasteful and thoughtfully completed. We will definitely be returning to the Lodge!

Had a lovely 7-night stay at The Lodge! The location is ideal, secluded enough to 'get away from it all' yet not too far from local ameneties and also an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Welsh countryside & coast. As soon as we arrived at The Lodge, it felt like 'home'! Everything you could possibly need is provided & the thought & attention to detail was great. The decor & furnishings were very homely & comfortable. Needless to say we didn't want to leave & are looking forward to returning again!

We were extremely impressed by the interior, everything was coordinated and to a real high standard. Extremely clean and tidy and just about everything you could possibly want (we forgot our binoculars but there was some available at the lodge). Outside there was plenty of seating options, terrific views and great walking locally. The dog enjoyed the freedom of the garden and paddock and the cosy bed and towel. Also located close to Dyserth so within walking distance although coming back up hill burnt a few calories! The owners were lovely, never intrusive but happy to chat if you were around. One of the best holidays we have had in Wales.

This was our first visit to Wales, so we did not know what to expect, in fact we initially chose The Lodge by its name. Glad that we did! Neither the area nor The Lodge disappointed. We received a very warm, friendly welcome from Charlotte, who had already sent us an information pack and clear travel directions.The Lodge was beautifully presented with everything and more provided. A lovely welcome pack of starter food including a delicious lemon cake. Everything at The Lodge was top quality from the bed linen, towels, kitchen utensils to the very comfy dog bed, bowls and dog towel provided. Throughout, the cottage smelt beautiful and clean, a lovely, cosy haven to return to at the end of the day. Excellent outside furniture. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return. Mariel and I had a fantastic stay in The Lodge. Upon arrival, everything was spotless with a welcome pack and bread and milk. The Lodge is very well equipped and furnished in a modern clean style with lots of furnishings.The bed was extremely comfortable and both sitting room and kitchen attractive and cosy to use. The views are stunning, looking out onto rolling hills and a view of the sea(a little distant). We woke to the sound of birdsong . The weather wasn’t great, so we only had limited time on the patio, but breakfast,outside, in these surroundings is a real treat.Charlotte was very helpful and responding quickly if we needed anything.

We have been using holiday cottages for 27 years and this is the best yet. The Lodge has everything we need and more. Situated in a quiet rural location but with shops and pubs serving great meals nearby. Only 10 minutes drive to Rhyl and Prestatyn.
