“This was our first time in Newport and our stay at The Pell was great. The location was easily accessible. The room was very clean, had a spacious bathroom, we loved the orange sandalwood body wash. It felt like a cute updated studio apartment. The staff was very polite and helped us with directions and recommendations. The gym was very nicely kept up, plenty of equipment. “Mixed feelings, nice hotel but it felt like it was just opened with now staff that newer works in the hotel business before, cleaning service was horrible, they came at 6PM in the middle of getting ready for this nights dinner and you had to use to old towels getting ready. Asked for earlier cleaning after first night but it was the same day after… kids wanted pool so we chose this hotel, but the water was 65 degrees in mid June= no heated pool… after all the charge premium price but the do not...
