"The house, surroundings, the host, the communication, everything was top notch. Michael (the host) is an incredibly nice guy who made us feel extremely welcome. There is nothing to fault on the property, everything you could possibly need is available and in working order. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"We have stayed at many VRBOs before and this was one of the nicest ones. It was a bit more remote than the description "Schopfheim" suggests but you can see it if you actually look at the map. It is perfect if you are into hiking and the outdoors. We were there with three generations: us, our kids and our grandkids.
