“Clean place to sleep, helpful staff and the fan was really appreciated since we visited in peak summer heat. Also great with a kettle and bottles of water in the room and that the rooms were in a separate builing from the pub. We also really liked the breakfast (would however be great to be able to choose a yoghurt bowl as well for us with digestive issues in the morning). Some things can be improved though. The toilet was very hard to flush, the mirror in the bathroom had a big discolouration...

“The communication was terrible, we only got the code for the apartment access after we called the owner a few times. Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one.

“Friendly and welcoming staff, thoughtful touches and a lovely location with great walks and lots to explore”

“Stayed 1 night of 1-week road trip in UK/Wales + Roomy facilities + Comfy beds + Great wifi + Great breakfast - Location ok, but nothing special”

“Lovely welcome to this lovely renovated village pub and hotel. Lovely public rooms and our bedroom was cosy, warm and good to be in. Excellent bathroom. Dinner was fine, breakfast was excellent,”

“Great value for money, clean facilities and friendly staff. Had a good nights sleep.”

“Breakfast was good quality. My room was up three sets of stairs in the attic. While of a good size, it wouldn't be easy carrying a suitcase to the room.”

“Negatives: Cobwebs all over the ceilings in room and bathroom. Bathroom seen better days, very worn/mouldy stains. No heating, at least not functioning. Beds rock hard and bedding torn. Breakfast options mediocre. Pub stopped serving food quite early in the evening and didn’t always offer everything that was on the menu. Positives: good size room/bathroom. Nice with the adjacent pub. Big garden and parking lot. Bus stop nearby (3 min walk). Friendly staff.”

“Great place to stay while visiting the Cotswolds. Room was spacious and clean and food in the hotel was excellent. I would definitely recommend.”

“Super helpful and friendly staff, great hotel for business travel.”

“Läcker och annorlunda design. ”
