Dos Culebras House-Private Pool

Come and experience the beauty of Rincon, Puerto Rico from this spacious and unique property. With its two distinct units, stunning views, and a private swimming pool, it offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable vacation, creating cherished moments.

This is NOT a party house! No music or loud noises allowed after 10pm as this is a residential neighborhood.

Large family home divided into two units. The main unit has two levels. The living area, kitchen, dining table and balcony are on the first level and the three bedrooms are on the second level. Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom. One bed is king and the other two are queen size.

There is a two bedroom apartment below. Each bedroom has a full and a twin size bed, also a bathroom on each. There is another full kitchen and living area in this level.

The pool area is private and available for guests to use until 10 pm.

Parking space for up to 4 cars.

The property is private for guests.

We are a phone call away.

Puntas neighborhood is the home of surfing in Rincon. We are a two minute drive from Sandy Beach.

A rental car is highly recommended

This property is big and beautiful. We had three families of 4 staying and with the two bedroom suite downstairs, had plenty of room. It is important to know that the downstairs suite, while physically attached to the property is not accessible from inside the upstairs unit. You need to enter the downstairs unit using a separate key and back door entrance. The views from the back deck were amazing, the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach or out and about. We felt safe with the gate at the front of the property. We went for daily morning walks to Java Jake’s but highly recommend renting a car to explore all Rincon has to offer. There were beach towels provided, but if you want chairs you will need to rent them from whichever beach you land at. There are two washers & dryers on the property - one did not work at first but was fixed within a day. Jennifer - the property manager was a pleasure to work with and quick to respond.

This property was perfect for our family of 11 with plenty of beds, bathrooms and room to spread out. The pool was perfect for the kids at the end of each day and the location couldn’t have been more perfect! Having a full kitchen x2 was great as we enjoyed our family meal times together. A gas grill would have been amazing, just a suggestion! We cannot wait to return to Rincon, this trip was a big success!

Kitchen is well stocked with kitchen appliances. Pool was very nice. The nearest beach is for surfers. But playa de la la was well worth the drive and The beach house restaurant is very close. Two bedrooms and bathrooms are in a separate dwelling on the third level balcony. If you rent a car I suggest getting a vehicle that isn’t low to the ground. They are very responsive to needs. Our water went out and they had it fixed quickly. Water pressure is low if more than one person tries to shower at a time. But that was the only negative if that’s really a concern. The home is safe with a gated entrance. Entire home is pretty. The outdoor view is beautiful!

Rincón

Due to an Island wide power outage, and limited fuel for the generator, due to high demand, we were not able to stay at the property. Jennifer the property manager was very diligent and communication was immediate. They also processed the refund quickly. The house looked wonderful and Rincón is such a fun area, we hopemaybe in the future staying here.

Great experience

The house worked great for the 2 families that stayed there. There was essentially 2 different houses so one family stayed in the lower level and the other stayed in the upper. If kids were a little older the downstairs apartment would be perfect for them alone. The pool was amazing and super great to relax in after visiting the various beaches around town. Many different beaches nearby that were just a few minute drive to get there. Great experience. Would come again.

Overpriced

The house looks good, but looks can be deceiving. We lost power at least twice during our stay. Over 48 hours of no power. You are reminded how nice air conditioning is to sleep, to keep food, keep a phone charged, and be able to make coffee. I read a few reviews about a shower head breaking, a cold shower and Being locked in a bathroom. It was not good to assume for the price of the rental these items were fixed. There was nothing done with fixing these issues. I would like a refund. All you get out of the high dollar you pay are good looks of a house. Nothing but looks.

Tropical Paradise

Dos Culebras is a lovely property. Large and spacious, but also very comfy. Jennifer was a great host, quick to respond if we needed anything. Only wish we had booked for 2 weeks!! None of us were ready to leave.

Great spot!

Great location- nice bedrooms and house . We could have used dish towels for kitchen- and more bath towels - overall very pleased. The owner was very responsive and brought us batteries for fan remote and gave us many selections for things to see and do.

Great Location but Needs Improvement

Starting with the good: This VRBO listing is a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. It is spacious and can accommodate a large family. It is a 10 min walk to the beach (downhill), or a 20 min walk back (steep uphill). The not so good: Our major issue during this stay was the lack of maintenance on the house. First, two guests were electrocuted when trying to turn the pool lights on outside. The circuit box was exposed the air. The pool was then unsafe to use until the electrician arrived two days later. There is also inconsistent water temperature, and everyone's shower was fairly unpleasant. One shower head fell off while a guest was taking a shower, which had to be repaired. One of the bedroom's in the lower units AC unit stopped working, which also took time to repair. Overall, the house is in need of a major refresh -- it's missing basic kitchen accessories, the toilet paper holders are all rusted out, some of the drawers in the bedrooms contain miscellaneous construction materials, and the pool could really use a deep clean/power wash. While management did address the issues eventually, I was honestly expecting more paying $4k+ for a week. The management company offered no reimbursements for the inconveniences. There is a clear difference when a VRBO listing is run by such a company, or in contrast a family. Not sure I could recommend this property until these issues are fixed.

Really nice house for a big group with ample parking for 4 cars. The house was well equipped if you want to cook or grill by the pool and is close to a lot of places in town if you want to go out. They provide beach towels, chairs and coolers and the host also suggested things to do around the area. It’s nice that there were living areas on each floor so that teenagers could sleep and hang out downstairs and adults in the main floor. We drove to the beach because the walk is not that easy down the narrow road, but by car it’s really close by and there are several beaches to choose close by. Be aware that if you’re coming with older adults there are stairs to the bedrooms and no railing to hold onto that could be dangerous if someone slips. Had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time

We had a great time at the property and in the town It should be noted that the house has lots stairs. The host should consider installing ledges (pasamanos) to improve safety. Not having them made moving inside the house a little difficult and unsafe for some of us. Also, the house wasn’t ready at check in time. Our reservation had a check in time at 3pm. Apparently the host had planned to change that to 4pm but didn’t communicate that to us. We were there waiting for about 40 minutes.

Amazing stay

We came as a group of 10 couldn’t have been a better property. Beautiful views, surrounded by green lush foliage and a refreshing pool. Accommodations were great and we loved walking the neighborhood and to the beach every day. Thanks for providing such a great property to relax after a day at the beach or exploring!

70th birthday celebration

We chose Puerto Rico because no one had been there yet. We chose Rincon for the beaches & fishing. We were not disappointed. This house had everything we needed & wanted. Lots of space so we could spread out if we needed, quiet areas for the baby to nap uninterrupted was a bonus. The available pack-n-play was perfect for him too. The 3 year old loved her early morning swims. Nice beach just 2 min drive down the road. We found great food choices for take out. The grocery store is close & had all we needed to make homemade fish tacos & poke bowls with the catch from 2 fishing trips. Our only surprise was the narrow, curvy streets which made for interesting driving. Great place to stay, we hope to return again for another fun week!

Family Friendly

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for both our families, with plenty of space for everyone. The location is close to everything we needed/wanted. (Beaches, downtown, stores etc.) The pool was amazing and the outside decks with tables and seats made meals and coffee more relaxing.

Beautiful Rincon spot

Rented this home for my husbands family vacation. We were so pleased with the house, how lovely it was, and the convenient location to some of our favorite beaches and fun Rincon nightlife. The outdoor spaces were so nice for relaxing in the quiet area and watching the sunsets, and the kitchen and living room was substantial enough to use for our larger group. The host way easy to communicate with and accommodating.
