Good location with a very friendly service
We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is well located in Cobacabana close to the beach and rental car offices which was important for us. The service personnel was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was very good with a large offering of different things. The hotel has a parking service against an extra fee. It has also a swimming pool on the roof top, but we did not visit there. The hotel is a very good option for people who look for a well located hotel in Copacabana/Leme with a reasonable price close to all main car rental companies.

Bra läge!
Hotellets läge och personalens trevlighet var utmärkt! Stranden var härlig dock är poolen extremt liten. Dock låter toaletter och duschar från andra rum, även trafiken.

Prisvärt och trevligt
Trevlig personal och bra läge i närheten av Copacabana. Med taxi eller Uber kan du snabbt ta dig runt till stadens olika delar. Personligen hade jag föredragit boende i Ipanema då den stranden är lite fräschare. Takets pool är liten men mycket trevlig. Finns matbutiker och caféer och barer runt hörnet.

Its all about the People
A week's stay in Rio and the first time at this hotel (have stayed at many, upmarket and simple here before). A remodeled hotel with renovation needs like many others here in Rio, neither better nor worse than others but a lot can be missed. But as always, it's the people you meet that give the golden edge of your stay. Friendly and courteous staff at the reception desk such as Vitor and Lais, Filipe who meet one with a smile at breakfast and at the pool, all the time with the interest that you feel good, nothing is missing and enjoying your stay. Finally, a hotel is not judged by how modern and fine it is furnished, but how the staff meet their guests. So this hotel gets a 3 what it's about amenities but a 5 when it comes to the mentioned employees

Great Hotel
We had a great stat at Plaza! The room was clean with big bathroom and aircon. The staff are service minded and breakfast was good! Lot of fresh fruits, egg, bacon, yoghurt etc. We only missed out grain bread but doesn't seem to be common anywhere in Brazil. The hotel also have a great roof top with bar and pool! Though I rather like location Ipanema or closer to Ipanema since beach, restaurants and shopping is little bit better there. I can recommend this hotel.

Hotel was average at the best. Location semi good. Amenities nothing special. Staff barely spoke English. Room wasn’t the cleanest and bed was not comfortable. Overall not the best experience.

The internet strength was frustrating essentially when trying to book activities and the internet dropped. Also, one evening after a drink on the rooftop terrace, we were disturbed around 10 p.m. by staff needing us to resign for our drinks because of a "system" issue. We were woken. Why this couldn't wait untill morning is beyond us. Anyways, it was rude and annoying. The terrace was nice

This hotel is in bad shape. The rooms are in need of a total make over. The rooms are very noisy: we heard everything from 2 rooms down (as we didn't have direct "neighbours"). Flushing the toilet, closing curtains, using the shower, closing the doors, talking, TV etc. Very, very bad. The pool bar is good, breakfast buffet is limited.

Dated property and uncomfortable bed. Area is pretty desirable however can be a bit unsafe late at night. Close to the beach and staff is nice. I do wish I had spent more to stay somewhere else though because the bed was very uncomfortable. My partner and I are in our early thirties and it was tough for us.

Atendimento ótimo da equipe num geral, quarto agradável para apenas descansar e tomar um banho. Ótimo café da manhã, ótima localização também e uma vista no terraço bem agradável dessa área da cidade. Retornarei ao hotel sempre que possível quando estiver no Rio.
