“Upon checking in I handed my ID to the front desk employee and then ran my credit card for incidentals. I was surprised I was then charged $1500 for the 5 days I reserved through Expedia and already paid for. I explained to the front desk employee I had already paid through Expedia but she was adamant I did not pay and made no other attempt to confirm that I had. “The water park was great for our kids. Lots of options and attentive staff. We enjoyed the arcade as well.”

“The overall condo is very nice. The room could be updated with updated furniture and paint. The AC worked very well. Beds were comfortable. The couch was not comfortable and worn, as well as balcony furniture. There was a dirty washcloth left on the shower curtain rod, which means the shower curtain was not cleaned or it would have been seen when taking down. It was a thin, cotton washable shower curtain that is not able to be cleaned other than wash. The pool area was clean and well maintained.”

“Ok hotel in Myrtle Beach. You will need a car to get around because of the location, which is a bit off. Otherwise, I have no complaints.”

“My wife is very critical anytime I book a stay. She normally likes to stay at the Myrtle Beach Oceanwatch by Marriott. After this trip she quickly said that we will be coming back and staying longer. The pool was amazing, not just the wife and kids, but for me as well. “No elevator would be nice to know. We came at 3:30p nope check in at 4p ,returned took 40 minutes to get the room cause everyone was lazy and going home.”

“The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. This hotel is old and smell old. Our room said pool views and it was not plus it smelled awful. The front staff said they saw pool view on our reservation so they moved us down a floor still same view. Breakfast was described as on of the best in the area, it was actually the worse breakfast. The remote did not work for the tv, despite all of that, every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful.”

“The amenities were great. The room was dated and mattresses were less than desired based on the price of the room. The parking deck was awful. Getting anything other than a midsize car in the garage was difficult. The areas around the hotel smelled of marijuana.”
