âWe reserved a room for 3 people and basically got a 2 bedroom unit for a very reasonable price. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. Location was great - beautiful view from the balcony over the countryside and was right in the center of the city so easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Parking was a bit of a hassle but I eventually found some. Included breakfast from a cafe on the street that was delightful. â

âThe setting is beautiful and the breakfast and dinner at their restaurant was amazing.The room we had facing the swimmingpool could have been more inviting with a walkway to reach the room with luggage. The room itself was nice. The furniture could have been a bit more practical with a bedside table etc. The bathroom was excellent, big and new.â

Breakfast (Italian style) was served at the premises, for lunch/dinner a car is needed to reach most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed a wine tasting with some of their self-produced wines. âA wonderful setting amongst their winery. Loved our week long stay at Svetoni where the comfortable duplex room was very tastefully done a with modern comfort like Ac and a lovely rain shower. The breakfast was very good each day and the staff were friendly and attentive. The swimming pool is also of a good size.â
âWe had initially planned to stay at Locanda Poggioleone for three days but we ended up staying for a whole week because we loved it so much. The hotel is located a short drive from Castiglione Del Lago with a great view over lake Trasimeno. The hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable, the pool area is very nice and the rooms are nice & clean. Will definately come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.â
