“Everything was ok except not so nice breakfast. There was egg, coffee and fruits but not so much more that we want for breakfast. Youghurt but only with a lot of sugar in. Croissant but with sugar. Just toast (white bread) and marmelade. Why not fresh bread from a bakery and real cheese, ham, salmon etc? Natural youghurt without sugar?Serials without sugar? ”

“Best hotel of our Costa Rica trip yet. What a special place! The physical space is beautiful. The wildlife on the property and the gardens and general space were exceptional. Loved seeing toucans and monkeys right by our room. Loved walking to the ocean and river and town so easily. Wonderful boat tours of the national park with Steven. He blew us away with his knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area. Great responsiveness to emails and any questions or concerns. Also wonderful night tour...

“Två nätter på hotellet o det var riktigt bra. Vi fick ett stort ljust rum på övreplan. Mycket prisvärt. Helt OK frukost. Hjälpsam personal. Tyvärr ingen balkong men hotellets uteplats mot vattnet uppvägde. Rent ö fräsht”

“Beautiful surroundings and cozy cabins. The staff was very friendly. We only stayed one night and did not have time to explore the area any closer, but if you are a nature lover this is definitely the spot to be. On the downside it should be mentioned that the road to the property is about 11 km of rather rough gravel. While a 4WD is not strictly necessary (the hotel said that any car would do) I would not not recommend going there in a smaller sedan or similar, especially not in the rainy...

“Our stay for our family of 4 at Aninga Lodge was fantastic. The room was clean and convenient. We spent a lot of time at the pool with the kids, they loved it, especially when the monkeys and toucans were hanging out in the trees. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside we found was the transportation between the hotel and Tortuguero town. There is a boat provided for the hotel every few hours, but it isn't often enough to be convenient.
