Great location In future the fact that there are no sheets and towels at the house should be noted on the website when looking at places to stay. Thank you for providing these for us though. The water shortage is an issue as the tank was extremely low when we arrived. Thank you

Sorry you missed the information about bringing sheets, it is on the site and I also sent you information regarding bringing these. This is standard at Riversdale. We supplied these for you as you - you are welcome. At Riversdale Beach everyone is on tank water, and it has been a very dry summer however we would never rent our property if we didn’t have enough water for our guests. We ask all guests to go easy on water. Again this is standard. Unfortunately I can’t take your review down, as you have asked me, so I’m hoping potential guests can see that there is no problem with our water levels and that they should read all the information before booking. I’m always available for any questions. We have a high standard on communication, cleanliness, location and value. 😊

Christmas 2023
We aged 80+ to 5 year old stayed for Christmas and had a fabulous time. Great location. Bach suited us well lots of sitting places and outside living great. We'd all love to go back again. Katrina very helpful host.

Teambuilding weekend
Fantastic spot! Everything we needed. The only blemish was the main bathroom shower, which was very weak, but in the overall scheme of things, that wasn't much of an issue. Absolutely loved the place and will hopefully return one day.

Perfect classic kiwi bach

Kiwibach at it best
Loved the location. Very roomy. Great for a large group. Property owner was amazing to deal with and accommodated our timings. It is older but has a character about it. Our only complaint was we felt it needed a good spring clean inside as it was dusty. We washed dishes before use as well. A good declutter in the kitchen would aid. Feeling like lots has been left and is building up. Really do recommend for value for money. Property is suberb otherwise. As advertised.

Thank you for feedback Wendy and apologies that you found the place dusty. Unfortunately we had to use a different cleaner that we hadn’t used before and will never be using again!!We pride ourselves on having the house clean for all visitors and our usual cleaner is amazing!

Everything you need
We had a wet, but fun weekend, and were able to use the BBQ and sit outside on the covered deck. The DVD’s were a bonus in the evening after the kids had been in the surf all day. Walking distance to the beach and shop and anything you need could be found. A top Kiwi bach.

Great retreat for the beach
We had a great weekend away at Welly McClellys Bach. Lucky to have nice weather and waves at the beach. Great location and an easy walk from the bach to the beach or shop for supplies. Kids made great use of the bikes. The bach had everything we needed. Really looking forward to returning in January as this weekend went by too fast!
