The bed is comfy, heater/ac works and it had warm water for a shower. Annnnd a continental breakfast! If you just need a room to lay your head, the el-cheapo room will do nicely! “Room was fairly clean, but was quite outdated. Blankets were not warm. Happy there was linens and soaps. Loved the full size coffee pot!”

“The lodge is nice and charming. Pool areas good and water clean. The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and good. The bar and restaurants are okay. I guess the staff is Midwest nice, but maybe a little bit lazy. I don’t get the feeling anyone would go the extra mile to make my stay better. But with the price tag it’s good value for money, I would go back.”
