“This is one of my favourite places near Robertson. Beautiful setting with a little pond you can overlook from the bar. In the evening phantastic atmosphere and vwry peaceful. Also the staff very friendly and I received an excellent breakfast. Had been here before when it still was Rosendal Winery. Now new owners who have some excellent ideas how to develop the place. I really enjoyed the discussion with them. Hope to come back one day and see the further development”

Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage war relativ laut, aber die schöne grüne Lage bringt auch etliches an fliegenden Getier mit sich, sodass ein Fenster-Öffnen eher schwierig ist. “We had a great one night stay when taking the NCCR (New Cape Central Railway) wine tasting train in Robertson. Good walking distance to the raiway. Friendly staff, great beds, excellent location and stunning gardens. I especially loved the sculptures in the garden. We bought some food and wine after the train, and had a stay at home tapas dinner. The staff helped us to make a fire, and we sat outside in the fall evening enjoying the lovely outdoor space ”

“This little hidden pearl is worth a visit for sure. Ideal for children and people who likes the quiet country lifestyle. Loads of animals and the omelette in the morning tasted a little better just by knowing it came from the farm hens, tomatoes from the garden etc etc. We saw 2 little goat babies come to life before we left. How amazing is that? And a free turtle came to visit us as well. Very surreal but from a kids perspective it’s perfect. The only minus would be the long dirt road...
