Posticciola is a 19th-century village located on Lake Turano, and this small apartment is situated in the heart of the village. It has been carefully renovated to preserve the original materials, combining the comfort of a home furnished to welcome guests with the leisurely pace of a village where time moves at a different rhythm.



The interior preserves the soul of the historic building, with original details integrated into the restoration. From the windows, the view opens up to the hills surrounding the lake—a landscape that changes with the seasons but always retains the same sense of peace. The house is designed for those who want to slow down: simple rooms and authentic materials.



When you step out of the apartment, you find yourself right in the village’s narrow stone-paved streets. The Museo Diffuso delle Arti Contadine, the church, the old washhouse, and the viewpoint overlooking the lake can all be reached on foot by following the signs in the village. About a 30-minute walk away are the Romanesque bridge and the old mill, complete with a picnic area and barbecue site.



The Turano Dam, inaugurated in 1939, leads to Chalet Turano, which is recommended for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or an aperitif at sunset over the lake. Along the village streets, you’ll find pots of basil, rosemary, and sage tended by the residents and made available to everyone: a small gesture that speaks to the spirit of the village.
