“This is absolutely great value for the price if your activities start here or if you rent a car. We are here at the end of rain season so no pool, no restaurant and little guests. It is a dive center/shop - hotel and, again, great value for money!”

“I had booked a room for a engineer and due to flight delays he arrived 4 days later than planned. The hotelstaff did not hesitate changing the stay to meet the flights even if the booking was done without possibility of refund. My engineer have stayed here once last year and we did not hesitate to select this hotel for this visiit and we will for sure book rooms here next time we have business in Palau.”

“The driver hired to take me to the hotel was easily seen. Check in was quick and room ready. Any issue with the Room they addressed immediately. The water was warm for the shower. Bed very comfortable lots of places to store your luggage. The fridge and freezer worked well. Walking distance to the museums and souvenir shops. Lots of choices for places to eat and grocery stores. Beach is not walkable.”

“I can’t say enough about the 4S Explorer. 4S service and dining (mostly) on a dive boat There are other water activities for non divers but Palau is for diving ! I’ve been diving for 30 years and this was hands down the best diving I’ve ever done. I only wish I had a few more days Already planning for the return trip. Not easy to get to Palau, but honestly, that is part of the charm and the dive sites aren’t over run with tourists”

“Staff was so friendly and helpful! Good location. On site free parking. A/C kept room cool and comfortable. Large, clean pool. Russ went out of his way to assist us, as did front desk staff. Building has lovely wood trim, huge hand carved storyboards in the lobby”

“Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. ”
