“The hotel was very clean and smelled great! The staff helped us with an issue with booking and made our stay very comfortable. Thelma was awesome! gave us dog treats and a gift for the puppy. Very nice and clean place to stay, would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.”

“This is the 2nd My Place we have staged at, the other was in Greenbay Wisconsin. Great experience! Room was clean and there’s even an ice maker in the freezer which is handy. Beds were comfy and hotel was quiet.”

“Overall the area was clean and well maintained. There is a desk clerk that is a bit grumpy, not sure why he is, but the rest of the staff were helpful and pleasant. Being connected to Old Chicago is very convenient. I will be staying here whenever I am working in the area.”

“The hit tub in the pool area was broken but repair work was scheduled. Or room had a hot tub and it was very nice. Breakfast was pretty standard but hot and plentiful. Overall pretty nice accommodations.”

“It’s right in the middle of everything you could want or need in town as far as shopping or eating go, they are super affordable and they have a pool and a decent “breakfast bar” to choose from in the morning with coffee. Only thing/complaint that is worth a mention is how COLD the water in the pool is!!! We still got in and had fun but it was really really cold!!!!”

“Do not let the old/outdated look of this place fool you! This was an excellent place to spend the night at. We stayed for 2 nights and this place was perfect! Also, the receptionist was the reason why this place got a 5 star rating from us. We bothered her for no reason at all over a set of mislabeled bathtub faucets, and she was all smiles around, never once showed any attitudes for being pulled out of her cozy office on a cold evening. We would stay here again because of her hospitality. ...

“The property was what I expected. No frills, basic. The shower is small, the showerhead isn't adjustable and in a weird position. The breakfast was very minimal. Wheat and white sliced bread, 2 types of cereal, breakfast burritos, yogurt and Sunny D for juice. Coffee had dry, powdered creamer. The staff in the office were nice.”

“That's a good motel in the great location. The room seems clean and recently renovated. There's three floors though and if you're not lucky to get a room on the ground floor (there's a small amount of them) you have to climb up the stairs with your luggage(( No free wifi”
