  • Sitt i vardagsrummet och titta på vågorna rulla in utan att se några andra hus! Gå steg ut din egen slingrande sand väg till stranden. Fri utsikt från vardagsrum, matsal, kök och sovrum. Njut av soliga dagar och stormigt väder, allt från skydd av din egen veranda medan du smuttar på din favoritdrink och koppla av! Vill du vara äventyrlig?

    Cykla, surfa eller skimboarding eller bara vandra ner till bryggan och titta på sälar och se vad fiskarna fångar. Sitt på soffan och slappna av och titta på den vackra Oregon kusten vid dina fötter. Det finns något för alla ... hundratals filmer att titta på, spel att spela, pussel att sätta ihop och drivved fort att bygga. Njut och ha kul! Detta är en stor familj fritidshus, en liten bit av paradiset. (Absolut inga bröllop är att äga rum. Hyresgäster kommer att bli ombedd att lämna omedelbart och deras pengar förverkade. Det finns inga undantag. Dessutom, några partier över 10 personer.)

The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view is amazing and access to the beach was easy. We had a great time exploring the area and would definitely come back again. The hosts provided easy check in/check out instructions and were very communicative.

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great floor plan especially the patio facing the beach. It seemed very private the way it was sheltered slightly on each side, didn't notice the neighbors. Lovely sunsets and perfect access to the beach!

Quiet getaway

Property was great as was communication with the host! The view was amazing, quick walk to the beach, and floorplan of the house was perfect! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area in the evenings while the upstairs was a nice quiet retreat. The kids loved the heated kitchen floor and spent mornings sitting in the kitchen playing battleship!

Friends Go To The Ocean

This is an annual trip we have been making from the mountains of Montana to the beaches of Oregon for seventeen years but the first time at Beach Star in Rockaway. We all loved the house and the easy access to the beach.

Quiet and Family Friendly

The house was spacious and had a perfect view of the ocean. We loved that there was a dining table big enough for all of us, and the huge movie collection was a bonus. We stay in Rockaway every year because of its quiet location, and this house didn't let us down. It's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of uncrowded beach to enjoy.

Great house, perfect location

This was our second time staying at Beach Star. It’s a beautiful house, comfortably furnished, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The only thing it was missing was a Bluetooth speaker so bring your own if you want to listen to your tunes.

Beautiful beachfront home

What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, very comfortable, and full of amenities. And the view! Stunning view of the Pacific from the large picture windows in the main room. Rockaway Beach is a sleepy town but that’s a plus in our book because the beaches were uncrowded and pristine. The house is close to many other beach towns, and the host leaves details about the area — we planned our days around the suggestions! So many stunning hikes and viewing spots along route 101 to see the intertidal rock formations.Jan was so helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot!

Great location on Rockaway

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times. As always, it was super clean and has everything you need. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and a short drive to town. Hope to stay again next year. My only wish is that they would put screens on the windows.

60th Anniversary get-away <3

Amazing home with an incredible front-seat view of the ocean! Comfortable, easy access to the beach, incredible sunsets and for us....a lot of love to go around having had our 2 daughters/2 sons-in-law with us to celebrate for the entire week! Annual Family Beach Trip

We have stayed at this same location for several summers for our annual family beach trip. We love it every time! It is well stocked with all the beach toys that you need. It is a great location for a sandy beach without crowds. There are also plenty of games and movies available when you are taking a break from the beach. We will be back!

This is by far the best beach house we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few! It is well equipped, comfortable, spacious, and has a direct oceanfront view that can't be beat. It's close to town but far enough away to allow you to enjoy an almost private beach experience. Jan, the owner, is a joy to work with and has provided so many thoughtful touches to make this home feel like you can live in it instantly. The kitchen has more pots and pans than my own and plenty of dishes for a crowd. The only television is in the downstairs living room, which makes the upstairs living room entirely focused on the beach view, as it should be! We loved our second stay even more than the first, and we plan to come back next year!!
