  • Come visit the beautiful Edgewater Escape cabin where you can create unforgettable memories with your family and friends. Enjoy the newly updated cabin that welcomes you right inside the front door. Drink your coffee (Keurig and Pods provided) each morning on the deck watching the wildlife waking up on the pond. Get up close and connect with nature on the rowboat or catch and release fishing (bring your own gear!).

    Cozy up under the stars at the firepit, while roasting marshmallows and relishing each other’s company. After a long day of hiking on the beautiful trails at Hocking Hills, kick back and luxuriate in our hot tub while having your favorite beverage taking in the peacefulness of nature with gorgeous trees, a view of the woods, and a large outdoor green space.

    This 2-bedroom and 1 bath cabin includes a private bedroom on the main level with a queen size bed and a loft with two full size beds. Cook your meals in our fully equipped kitchen or grill
    out on the deck! Along with the private pond, you can also take advantage of a private lake and swimming area just a short distance away.

    Edgewater Escape is one of three A-frame cabins nestled around their own private pond and provides the perfect retreat for you, your family, and your guests! Amazing Place to Stay Highly Recommend

This was an amazing get away when we arrived and saw the place in person it was exactly like the photos and the hot tub was amazing with a pre-planned cleaning routine us feel good about the water being clean.

Lovely Getaway

This cabin is clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed, including coffee maker and toaster. The hot tub was great, as was the fire pit. We enjoyed our stay. The hosts are gracious and welcoming.

Hocking Hills Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect place for our Hocking Hills weekend getaway. We could get to all the major sites in about 20 minutes. The hot tub was an added bonus and we enjoyed using it in the evening after hiking all day.

Ideal Getaway

Property was clean, fully stocked with necessities/amenities and perfect size for family. Very cute cabin with a hot tub on deck overlooking the pond. Property manager was great with communication. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The home was set in a beautiful space. My college kids loved the pond and row boat. They also spent every evening in the hot tub. The loft area worked perfectly to give them their own space to chill and sleep. While this was terrific, and what I had hoped for, there were a few areas that need to be addressed. Areas that should have been made clear, but were never mentioned. 1) There is only enough flatware for four people. We were supposed to have had five total people. If that had been the cases we would have been out of luck eating anything together for a meal. 2) There wasn't any mention of needing to run, empty, and monitor a dehumidifier. Although, it is completely obvious why one is needed, it would have been great to know that ahead of time. If the dehumidifier wasn't running then the smell of mold or mildew was evident especially in the bedroom on the main floor. The dehumidifier ran at 60-78% on humidity. It should be reading at 40% or lower. Another dehumidifier would be helpful..

Beautiful and relaxing location

Our family stayed here for 2 nights and it wasn't long enough. We enjoyed the property so much. The cabin had everything we needed. The swimming lake is a short walk away and clean. The owners were very responsive when we messaged them. Will stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Edgewater Escape Cabin in Hocking Hills! The cabin itself was unique and full of character, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely stunning. The location couldn’t have been more perfect — close enough to all the main attractions yet peaceful and private enough to really relax.Everything was spotless, from the cozy living spaces to the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking. The attention to cleanliness and detail really stood out.Our only small complaint was that the beds weren’t very comfortable, but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely come back for another getaway! Thank you!

First get a way with my girlfriend and we had a blast. The cabin is wonderful and well equipped. Hot tub, views, pond, fire pit - excellent!!! If you’re looking to recharge the batteries in your life, take a 3 day mini break here at this cabin.. host is very responsive. Thank you Beth for sharing your cabin with us. We appreciate it.

Quaint A frame

This was the perfect getaway for a weekend. Very secluded even though there is cabins close by. No cell service but internet worked great. Kitchen was stocked well with cooking supplies. LOVED the gas fireplace. Complimentary coffee was a nice touch. I will say for those picky about the comfort of beds, they are very stiff. We definitely enjoyed our weekend here!

This place was a perfect fit for us!

It was unfortunately bad weather during our whole stay but we were still able to fish, enjoy the hot tub and a bonfire and sneak in a few hikes. The cabin was spotless and well supplied. Very cute cabin feel. Beds were a little rough on the back but not too bad. And that is literally the only complaint we had. Awesome cabin and we plan on coming back!

Excellent getaway

Cabin was very clean and property well kept. Hot tub under the stars was amazing. Location within Hocking hills trail system was appropriate. I have zero complaints of this stay. Being a single mom with 5 teenage and adult kids it was perfect. Boys loved having row boat to fish. The disconnect from electronics and business of life was a great weekend reset!

This property was a great getaway with friends! Property was clean and filled with enough supplies to cook with. We found out there were 3 beds not including pull out beds that worked perfectly! We had internet connection issues so be aware if you need service during your stay! Overall I highly recommend!!

Cute cabin, beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay - group of five adult women for a ‘girls getaway’. Directions and communication was great. Info in the cabin was accurate - though I think the name of the Wi-Fi in the book was incorrect, but East to figure out. We had no issues while there. View of the pond was very pretty. The cabin was as advertised, descriptions of all the rooms, amenities, etc. were all accurate. It seemed a little smaller than the photos looked and the spiral staircase was functional, though narrow. The deck is mostly hot tub (which was great!) so no real seating outside except down by the firepit. I’d stay there again, but maybe with a smaller group. Thanks for hosting us!

Magical Christmas

I could not have picked a better cabin to check off my bucket list item of spending Christmas in a cabin! We wanted an A-frame near a body of water, with a hot tub near a door, wifi, full kitchen, actual bedroom, and close to Lancaster. This cabin hit every wish on our list. Plus it's so easy to communicate with Beth. She was super prompt and genuine with us. We wanted to stay longer and would have if we didn't have to be back home. I have a FWD Equinox and Monarch was snow covered and icy. I just had to commit to getting up the hill. Just go for it! Stay to the right. You'll make it. There are plenty of blankets, towels, and kitchen supplies. Just bring food and drinks. This was THE BEST cabin experience I've ever had. We will definitely be back! Bonus is that there are two other cabins right there so there's good possibility that one will be available when we return. BOOK IT!

Perfect getaway
