âThis is our second stay at Copper King. We always get a high-end room for a reasonable price. Beds are soft with quality linens. Bathrooms well-appointed (love the double vanities).
The room was very quiet considering it is on a main street.
The breakfast was good and coffee fresh. The Rib and Chop House restaurant has the best steaks we have ever tasted, hands down!
We will be back.â
âWe stayed at Hickory House Inn for our 9-year anniversary and had such a wonderful experience! The town is absolutely charming, and everyone we met was so warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Sister Gilmary Room, which was spotless, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. The shower had great water pressureâalways a bonus!

âAmazing hotel, the parking situation can be a bit of a hassle but thatâs understandable given that itâs in a mountain town.
Front desk staff at night time could have been kore pleasant or maybe it was me who was driving nonstop for a long time.
Breakfast options were fantastic and one of the best within this price range.
This hotel had the best hair dryer ever and I really want to know what brand was it.

âPet friendly. There were no questions or extra fees. The room was very clean and had hard laminate floors. Dog cleanup bag station in the yard. The pool and hot tub were clean, warm/hot, and well maintained. I would definitely stay again. It's a few miles off I-90, but we continued traveling on the M-1 scenic road and it was a beautiful alternative to I-90 for about an hour. Did not lose any time and very scenic.â
âOverall, the stay was great. No problems with checking in or out. The door worked exactly as they instructed via text message. Clean, modern rooms. I loved the option of the sauna and the gym. We used both. The little homey touches throughout the property were nice. The board with the guests' dreams was cute. The only problem was that the hot water option on the fountain in the lobby was not working. I had to go across the street to McDonald's for hot water.â
âOur stay was amazing. Lauren started talking to us early in the day to ensure they were ready for our arrival. She sent us directions and communicated with us all the way to the cabins. Nona the dog met us with one of the teen boys to ensure we were okay. They had a wagon for us so we had an easy time with luggage. We had a great walk on the property and truly enjoyed the outdoors. âWhen I booked this hotel I thought it would be new and fresh. I was so wrong. The front desk staff was only ok at check in. Not so welcoming. The hotel felt old and not so clean.
The room was horrible. Located at the first floor and not very soundproof. I could hear everything from the hallway and the lobby. The furnitures felt old and outdated. The room didn't smell good and was dark. Tv was old and not modern. Cleaning was ok, not so good. Breakfast was below average. Staff not so friendly....
