Overall, our stay was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Room was clean, facility was neat, and front desk employee was nice. A few complains would be we didn't receive enough towels for our family. The complimentary shampoo was used and not replaced. The pillows were too big. But, for the price it was a great experience.

Very clean and clearly upgraded. Property well kept and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was to be expected but good if your looking for toast, creal, waffles, fruit, etc. Room had been updated and painted recently. One of the nicer Econolodges we have stayed at. This was a great place to spend a night when traveling through. The only drawback is that the doors to the room enter to the outdoors. We had nice weather, so not an issue, as there were warnings about slippery when wet or icy. The carts to move baggage were VERY noisy outside the room due to the walkway. Otherwise, it was VERY quiet & great sleeping. King size bed was great. Fridge & microwave, iron & board, & hairblower. Breakfast was good with apples, waffles, 3 cereal choices, mini muffins, mini bagels, danish, bread for toasting, coffee, apple & orange juice. Very clean place. Easy to find, right off freeway.

Waited 45 minutes checking in because of discrepancy of $7.00 between hotel and hotels.com They did not plow or shovel snow prior to or after snowstorm. Even entrance to lobby was not shoveled and had large ice chunks to walk through. The sign in the lobby said the hotel not responsible for any slips or falls. (The handicapped parking area was not plowed and no sidewalk visible- so don’t go here if you are handicapped) Walkway in front of rooms was not even shoveled or salted. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Toilet leaked from base when I sat on it. Overall, we were probably only one of 4 rooms occupied on a weekend in the Rockford area. I will not stay here again.
