We had a fantastic stay here. The building is beautiful and clean inside and out, the service was excellent, and the free breakfast was delicious. The property is also very convenient to the downtown area of Rockland and many other attractions nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing, homey and friendly! I would absolutely recommend for folks looking for a quiet getaway thats walkable to an adorable downtown!

The building is in good shape, spacious room, good period condition. Lovely greeting by Emma, delicious fresh fruit pies. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Our issue stems from feeling like we were scolded to stay off first floor before 8:00am. The evening lights were not welcoming, we went to bed at 8:00pm. No where to sit on first floor because all space is set up for breakfast. The grounds need bush trim, trees have outgrown their space. you have to walk around the trees to stay on the path. Breakfast was good but no choices given, nor amounts. One strip of bacon? No fruit. All in all, I guess you can’t expect much for services from a B&B, but for $350, we would not give Exceptional as a rating.

The historic inn was elegantly and beautifully decorated. The gardens were exquisite…peaceful, serene and restorative. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the pies were delicious!!! We would definitely recommend it!!

It's all good. We were a little ahead of the season and it was very quiet, which is just what we were looking for. The ambiance and vibe in the inn was spot-on.

Magnificant property, very friendly Inkeeper that made us feel very welcome. Most delicious pie and amazing breakfast. We woke up with the smell of baked bacon, amazing! Only negative thing we could think of was bath/shower that was a little unconvenient to use.

LOVED my stay and have already booked another visit in October. The Staff are awesome and friendly. House is quiet but interactive and a few blocks walk to Main street and all the shops and restaurants. Also the ferry is right there so you can go explore the islands.

The neighborhood at first caused a concern. After two days and in the light of day we realized the location was good. The service was great. The facilities were old but kept.

Warm and welcoming. The Inn and room was lovely. The grounds were perfect with beautiful landscaping and flowers. Fresh baked pie at 3:00 o’clock each day. I LOVED everything about this B&B!

Wonderful inn with all the creature comforts
We chose this inn based on reviews and location and the easy walk to downtown. We met Cheryl soon after arriving as she "saved the day" by directing us to her local tire shop to repair a flat tire we discovered while parking; the entire evolution was resolved within an hour! MAHALO to Cheryl and Mike for the beautiful inn, furnished thoughtfully with every possible creature comfort!

Lovely Spot
Lovely Inn with wonderful staff. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The Inn is stocked with games, an array of tea, coffee, and 24 hour access to incredible pies and ice cream! We never had dessert when we ate out, we just came back and had more of their delicious pie. Breakfast is a huge treat as well. We hiked a lot while we were there and we needed to after all the delicious food.

Beautiful Inn, amazing hospitality
Amazing hospitality, beautiful Inn, and excellent value. I got to Rockland a little late and they left me a lovely note and directed me to homemade pie and ice cream in the pantry. Treated myself to a soak in the clawfoot tub which was a welcome treat after getting caught in the rain. Will definitely be back.

We liked it so much we extended our stay for two more days. Great breakfast, first class rooms and amenities. Close to downtown Rockland, Rockport and Camden. Fantastic hosts!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay along with the delicious breakfasts and pies in the pantry. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful and our room was wonderful with a very comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

They new the entire history of the house and had pictures displayed of the people that built the house. They're famous for their pies and they were AWESOME!! Going down to the kitchen at midnight for pie and ice cream was a highlight. As far as what we didn't like, there wasn't ANYTHING we didn't like, everything was awesome. They treated us like family from the second we arrived. The innkeepers Cheryl & Mike are now our new friends and we can't wait to go back.
