Cozy Cabin on 84 acres with creek and spring fed pond

Rooted Ground Farm. A secluded cabin in the woods with a Spring Fed Pond on 84 acres that run along Laurel Hill Creek (swim or fish for trout). The land has plenty of trails to explore (hike, bike or ski). 10 min to Seven Springs, 15 min to Hidden Valley, 15-20 min to Ohiopyle/Yough Lake (fishing, boating and rafting). The true mountain experience to escape from life for a while. Two bikes and spring fed hot tub also included. Explore our wildflower meadows and stargaze at night by fire. Fly fish right on the Laurel Hill Creek bordering our land.

We really loved our stay and found the hosts to be incredibly hospitable. The cabin was beautiful, clean and cozy, with great views and excellent amenities. The hot tub and pool table were fantastic, and the small toys for the kids were a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!

Unique and comfortable home was just what we wanted and needed in the area. Gorgeous property with stunning sunsets from the deck and living room. We enjoyed walking the property, the hot tub, the hibachi/griddle, comfy beds, and cute interior. Great central location to biking the Great Allegheny Passage, the FLW homes, the Ohiopyle rapids & waterfalls, and ski resorts.

Wonderful property, truly tucked away on a large property. Big comfortable couches and chairs, cozy bedrooms, and more amenities than most places (even bikes are provided). Many nice artistic touches to this cabin, truly feels like you are a welcomed guest.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful piece of heaven! Every detail down to the quality of the grill, the throw blankets, etc made for a luxurious vacation. The quiet and calm matches the view! The host was very attentive and helpful. The property was very well maintained. Our boys loved fishing in the pond and playing at the creek and of course the fire pit at night! Hot tub was a nice bonus too! And the pics don’t do this place justice. We were never to sad to leave a rental as the day we had to check out

Large cabin on 84 acres with creek, pond, and much more.

Home was roomy, clean, and in good shape overall. Hot tub, pond, kitchen, and bathrooms, great room, and bedrooms were all great. Great diversity of plants in the meadow.

Amazing stay!

The house is just as pictured, with beautiful views. The host was also very responsive. We stayed with four kids aged 9-13 and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend.

Family Memories

Really can't say enough good things about this property and the hosts. Very comfortable stay. Lots of memories. Shea was very responsive to any of our inquiries. The home had a rustic appearance but yet modern. Highly recommend.

Serene and secluded

The house is located on a beautiful landscape where you can watch the sun set and enjoy a star filled sky on a clear night. The home is well stocked and equipped. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for kids to play in the stream and pond near by. There are small trails which are perfect for smaller kids. Highly recommend.

Amazing house and property

Hosts were super responsive and gave us fabulous tips about all the awesome features of the property such as the best swimming and fishing locations. There were plenty of wildlife watching and hiking opportunities around the property. A perfect place for active folks who want to explore and have an adventure. The house was excellent with giant windows to enjoy the view. Overall, an amazing stay.

Perfect for a ski weekend!

Perfect place for a winter getaway! We stayed for a weekend to go skiing. The cabin is about 15-20 minutes from 7 Springs. The cabin itself is beautiful. Lots to explore around the property as well. We loved every detail of the decor (and the kitchen is super cute). We can't wait to come back!

Great Ski Getaway!

We had a wonderful time here with a group of friends! The house and property is beautiful. It is very close to Seven Springs (where we skied) & Hidden Valley. The owners are unbelievably accommodating, and they have excellent communication. We hope to stay here again!
