Summary:
Scenic Sunset is a comfortable, single-level cabin tucked at the end of the Scenic Heights neighborhood, just minutes from the Gorge Underground and other Red River Gorge attractions. With easy access via a well maintained and flat gravel road, this cabin offers a peaceful forest setting without the need for high clearance or four-wheel drive. High ceilings, large windows, and a private outdoor space make it a relaxed home base for couples, families, or small groups.
The Space:
Scenic Sunset features an open living area with high ceilings and large windows that look out over the surrounding forest. The living room, dining area, and full kitchen flow together, creating a comfortable space to relax after a day outdoors. Guests will find a cozy seating area, electric fireplace, smart TV with apps to log into, dining table for four, two bedrooms, a full bathroom with tub, and a washer and dryer for convenience.
Outside, enjoy a quiet and private setting surrounded by trees. The front of the cabin offers a firepit and charcoal grill, while a small patio out back provides a peaceful spot to unwind in nature, complete with a four person hot tub. With its central location and easy access, Scenic Sunset is a simple and inviting place to enjoy the Red River Gorge.
This cabin is located in a neighborhood with other properties, but this cabin is at the very end of the road and is overall very private!
This cabin is located down a well maintained gravel road. A low clearance, 2wd vehicle won’t have any issue approaching this cabin.
Other Things to Note:
We supply a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
- Toiletries (shampoo, body wash) are provided.
- Please ensure to enter a VALID and operational phone number into your account/ reservation as all of your information regarding your stay will be texted to your phone. Thank you!
- There is a drip coffee maker, we provide filters but not coffee.
- Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee.
- We do not provide firewood, charcoal or lighter fluid.
