Perfect location
We visited the Vatican and the location was perfect! It was also close to the metro to get to the train station. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen area were very clean and cutely decorated. The early check-in was also really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

The only plus to this location was that it’s one minute to the Vatican. Aside from that I had a poor communication with the owners. I messaged on sept 23 to advise my booking was wrong and that it was for myself and my two kids not two adults. This was messaged twice and okayed. When I arrived nearly a month later they told me after checking in it’s not ok and that I’d have to pay them cash which I did. Part was for a cleaning fee. I was then told the bed could only hold two people and had to advise I would sleep on the floor. Because it was the day of check in Expedia said I could only cancel if they approved it. They messaged me and said pay the money or go and noted paying the money would be better. Everyone knows what it’s like to have to find a room same day anywhere in the world. It’s truly made our experience worse not to mention there was only towels for two people the first day and only two for breakfast which we didn’t even eat. Items were packaged and what was not like the waffle cookies were stale. It’s unfortunate as the owners were accommodating to begin with and kind to speak to but made it a little unwelcoming as soon as I arrived.

Very clean accommodation next to Vatican
Very responsive host and an extremely clean home / room. We had booked it to be easy to get to the Vatican - this is good for walking but for car transport / Uber, the wait time may vary due to the crowds at the Vatican.

Nice, Clean and Comfortable Stay
Very comfortable and clean. Good location. Immediate area not pretty but good location and within walking distance to Vatican. We had a private bathroom, but it was external. Keep that in mi d. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Steps from the Vatican
This is a well located property if you’re looking to stay near the Vatican. It is literally just across the street from the Vatican. Because of that, however, there is a good amount of tourist traffic in the area, which sometimes means lots of trash outside on the ground near the area. It did in this case. It was not noisy, however, and we felt safe in the area as well. Peter’s Basilica is walkable from here as is the Piazza Navona. Walkable being about a mile or so, so if you’re not up for walking slightly over a mile, I’d suggest taking the bus. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and many forms of transportation are convenient from here; the bus, train, Uber. Check in was easy. Breakfast was so so, but it was nice that they offered it at all. I would stay again.

Great location in a quiet street
Conveniently located a stone throw from the Vatican, and an easy walk to the subway, it is located in a very quiet street. The room was very clean. The bathroom was adequate and offered a nice shower. Breakfast offered a choice of pre-baked goods, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and beverages. Not close to fresh brewed coffee and home made goodies, but enough to get the day started! They are so many bakeries and coffee shops in Rome, that you can get your fix elsewhere!

We really enjoyed the one night that we stayed at this B&B. The room was gorgeous, the whole apartment was super clean and the kitchen was overwhelmingly stocked! It's proximity to the Vatican made it perfect to walk to many site seeing destinations. We would highly recommend this facility.

Lovely!
Vatican Keys is a lovely B&B no more than a 3 minute walk from the Vatican Museums entrance. The closest train station is a 7 minute walk, the bus stop 3 minutes. Restaurants nearby, some open late, and gelato is 60 seconds from your door. Our room was just as described...very, very pretty. The entire B&B is decorated with "love" in mind! You get your own keys to the building/B&B/room and your own bathroom (ours was across the hall). The bedrooms are spacious, and each have their own air conditioner and safe. There's warm/hot water in the bathroom/shower/bidet, and a kitchen for common use at any time of day. Great coffee! The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils, breads, cookies and other breakfast items, and the refrigerator has everything from butter & salami, to milk, water & juice. There's a supermarket next door, in case you need anything else. But the most important part is Flavia. You'll have her cell phone number in case you need her at any time, and she replies right away. She helps with suggestions for dinner, transportation, and if you need tickets for the Vatican, she has a friend she can send you to. Because it was our anniversary, there was a chilled bottle of bubbly & chocolates waiting for us in our room. The only hiccup in our stay was that the a/c unit broke for 2 nights (very, long, hot nights!), but again communication was excellent, and the problem was eventually resolved. Free WiFi. Super cute B&B, you'll love it. :)

Fantastic b&b
Fantastic location for the Vatican museums, just steps away. Some lovely restaurants close by but best of all was the service and attention to detail. Flavia rang to make sure we were okay on route. She explained they layout of the B&B, which was an apartment with 3 rooms and a large shared kitchen. We stayed in the en-suite which was perfect, large bathroom with shower, the whole room was tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a huge choice of cereals, cakes, breads, yogurts, lots of jams and Nutella. All in all a lovely B&B and perfect for us.

Lovely boutique B&B
We had 5 nights here as we looked to see all of Rome's main tourist attractions, so firstly the location was ideal. The Vatican is round the corner (as the name suggests!), the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and Trevi fountain are easily walkable and the Colosseum is walkable at a push, but I'd recommend the Metro - the nearest station being 5 mins walk from the B&B. The rooms were spotlessly clean and modern, the breakfast is self service (which I really liked) and plentiful with a great variety. Elena and Carlo were also lovely and really helpful, giving us some great tips for our first stay in Rome. There are also loads of nice places to eat close by. As it's a B&B it can be tricky to find the exact building (look for a brass plate out front) so I'd recommend letting Google Maps do the work for you. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable & great location
Great location next to entrance of Vatican Museums. Very comfortable bed. Room was cleaned every day. There was some construction going on outside and hot water was turned off one day so couldn't shower. Breakfast was all sweet things- would have liked some savory/hot stuff.

A Perfect Place to Call Home for a Week in Rome
As the title suggests, this was a perfect place for us to call home for our week of sightseeing in Rome. Our room was clean and modern, with a king-sized bed, small desk, wardrobe (shelves only) and a safe. We didn't need to use it, but there is also air-con available, and a small radiator. We had a room with an external bathroom, which again was clean and well equipped with a good shower. This bathroom was a private bathroom for our exclusive use, but was across the hallway rather than an en-suite in the room. Along with our room & bathroom, we also had use of the communal kitchen (in which the continental breakfast is served) for drinks & snacks throughout the day. Eliana is a wonderful host. She is very helpful and hospitable. A few things we would say though. Firstly, it can be a little noisy. The B&B is just around the corner from the Vatican Museum's and there is a lot of traffic in that area. There was also quite a bit of noise from the apartments above, but that stopped before 11pm each night at the latest. Secondly, it is a little bit out of the way if you're going to spend most of your time in central Rome, so be prepared to use public transport. We used the metro a lot, and "Ottaviano" station is less than a 10 minute walk away. We did walk from Piazza Navona, which took us around 35 minutes. Being this far out also means there also fewer restaurants and eateries. However, it was a comfortable and peaceful place to use as a base for exploring Rome.

Τα παντα ηταν υπεροχα! Πολυ ομορφο και ευρυχωρο δωματιο! Παρα πολυ καλο πρωινο και η φιλοξενια της Ελιανας που εχει τα δωματια ηταν καταπληκτικη! Εχουμε μεινει σε τρια διαφορετικα καταλυματα στην περιοχη του Βατικανου και αυτο ειναι με διαφορα το καλυτερο! Ευχαριστουμε πολυ Ελιανα!

Romantic and cozy place
We really enjoyed our stay, we loved our room (there couldn't be enough hearts :) everywhere) It wasn't a problem at all that the bathroom was on the corridor. A great idea to have an all-day breakfast! the coffee was good. We only have a small suggestion, that the cakes on display should be changed more often and the possibility of having fresh bread will be a great bonus. If you are planning to have a nap during the day this might be spoiled by the noise of children playing on the floor above. During Saturday and Sunday night there was some noise from local parties well into the night. Good restaurants on the same street, he particularly enjoyed La Locanda di Pietro. Eliana, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this b&b!

Bad Roma accommodation experience
Landlord told me late check in is 20 Euro, but charged me 30 euro after. I arrive 10:35, ring the door, there's no one there, recharge my iPhone to make an international call. She even didn't wait for me to check in. On purposely to charge me in high price and Her charge seems depending on her mood. City tax charges, no providing invoice or receipt What I shocked was there were two bath towels in the room. In the morning, she asked me leave the door open for cleaning. When I came back on the night, I found the cleaning towel was gone and the dirty one left to me, I regret to not put the cleaning towel into the lock to save. That means I had to use this dirty towel for another two shower. Sorry, it's my fault, cuz everyday I took two showers. She told me one person one towel. But, why its the dirty one? Check out time is 10am, don't you think is too early. If not, this is not the issue. She asks me to leave at 10:15 when I was having the breakfast, I appreciate for allowing me to have the late breakfast because two English girls also there. If they are not there, I think I may lose this opportunity. I even no time and no where to check email and search the city attractions maybe, because I returned the from key and I am not allowed to stay in the kitchen on the checking out date. Should I stay in bath room? Very bad accommodation experience in Rome. I better wish you not provide breakfast instead of those small activities

Good morning, I thank you for being with my b&b, for me it is always a great pleasure. I gave my best to you as I do with all my guests, even though I asked every day if everything was ok and you said that they always will. You've arrived at 23.00 pm, when he was informed at 22:30 p.m. me My ceck in ends at 20:00 pm as you have surely read during booking. Through your portal where you have booked, you had already accepted my late check in. The local tax you pay in all the cities, I'm sorry you did you not informed before. In my B&B there is a daily cleaning of all rooms, bathrooms and common area. It 'a very important thing for us, so it is done every day, making finding the room and private bathroom completely cleaned the return of a day. For this reason it was called in the morning, in my presence, to leave the room open, so it can do the cleaning quickly. Towels double being a double room had been left, but since you were a single guest, was taken off a set of towels and was a complete for you. My breakfast ends at 10.00 a.m, and the time to check out within 10.00 am, you have been warned of this on ceck in and same day of ceck out, but the day of your ceck out are you doing breakfast at 10:10 am. I politely, I made you do the first full breakfast and at 10:30 am I informed you that we had to start to do the cleaning for the next guests. The most amazing experience by way to far.
The comapy I work for has always provide me with 5 star accommodation around the world, but this experience at Vatican s Key beats them all by way to far, the host is way too amazing she will do anything out of her way to make you feel welcome. The place is stunning she has an amazing taste, it's a master piece of art the interior design of Vatican s key. The location is superb next to the Vatican City. We even got a free car park in the middle of the chaos of Rome. It's definitely the best place in Rome. I am very happy and will look forward to return
