Mycket bra läge som utgångspunkt för det mesta som turist. Bli inte förvånad när Ni kliver in i porten och åker upp - rummen är bättre än trapphuset. Det lite negativa var att det telefonnummer som tillhandahölls via Hotels hemsida inte var korrekt, vilket vi fick erfara när vi skulle checka in. Efter kontakt med Hotels löste det sig.

Trångt rum utan något bord. Stort fräscht badrum, med duschtvål. Frukost på ett café i närheten, men bara sötsaker att erbjuda. Nära till väldigt mycket Bra lokal restaurang/bar utanför dörren Trång hiss

Main problem is the non-existing soundproofing between rooms - coughing, conversation and phone calls are easily overheard. Construction work in an adjoining apartment beginning very early was as loud as if the were working in our room. The location is superb, couldn't be better, and the staff very friendly. Little things, like running out of toilet paper, nowhere to hang wet jackets unless on door handles and a toilet brush that should have been replaced a very long time ago, are mere details that would be easy to fix for the owners (compared to the sound problem). Extremely comfortable bed!

Allt nödvändigt fanns i rummet utom krokar. Skön säng. Väldigt snålt med toapapper! Annars bra städning. Värdeskåpet borde sättas fast, annars kan man ju lätt vandra iväg med det under armen. Ingen som helst receptionsservice. Man får ringa om det är något akut. Tyvärr höll man på med renoveringar i rummet intill och sågade med cirkelsåg. Eftersom det är lyhört ändå var det outhärdligt de dagarna. Man öppnade upp en mellanliggande dörr så att hela rummet låg i ett dammtäcke.

Nära till allt
Litet ganska mysigt hotell med gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheter. Plus för läget och att rummen var hyfsat utrustade. Minus för att hotellet helt saknade service och annat att erbjuda än just ett rum. Hotellet är ett våningsplan i ett bostadshus så ett fåtal rum finns men ingen matsal, gemensamhetsutrymmen e.d.

Very good!
A very good B&B at the very best location in Rome. Newly renovated. Everything was superb. Please note, breakfast is continental. Not what everybody is used to. On the other hand it is served at a nice italian coffe shop with great espresso doppio. Next time in Rome - we will definitely book this place.

What a gem of a find to stay in central Rome. The Residenza dell’Angelo is a perfect base to explore the beauty of Rome - most highlights within a 30 minute walk. Our apartment amazed us at the size and space we had for our family of four: a master bedroom, living room (converted for two more beds); full kitchen and bathroom. Simone and her team made us feel welcome, the room with a maid service daily and small selection of condiments / tea & espresso pods. Should we return to the Eternal City, we will not hesitate to come back to stay here.

The hotel itself was fine. Unfortunately, my visit started out very frustrating. I got to the hotel around 5 p.m. on a Wednesday and found a note taped to the front entrance. It advised guests to call staff to check in. The problem was I did not have phone reception and could not call anyone. I started asking neighboring businesses for help and they called hotel staff for me. If not for the, I would have been locked out. I was never told in advance that I had to be at the hotel by a certain hour or else staff wouldn't be present. This was a very frustrating way to begin my trip in Rome. That said, the property was fine and the location was great.

Le check-in était compliqué et nécessitait un téléphone fonctionnel localement puisque l'adresse donnée n'était pas la bonne et que seulement une petite note avec un numéro de téléphone était scotché sur la porte. La personne qui a répondu était très difficilement compréhensible en anglais. La salle de bain de la chambre était recouverte de moisissure noire surtout le plafond qui était bas et sur lequel on se heurtait constamment. Aucun petit déjeuner inclus, mais petit resto à côté. Le reste de la chambre était nettoyé chaque jour et donc propre. L'emplacement était proche de plusieurs lieux touristiques.

On check in, no one answered the door bell. We called a mobile number for the hotel and were told we were to go to a different building 50mtrs down the road on the corner. This was not the place we booked. Room had no windows except the bathroom which opened to a back alleyway with rubbish bins outside. 2nd bed was a couch/bed and had a bar through the middle. Pretty disappointed overall. They did give us free breakfast for a couple of days and city tax was free but it didn't make up for it.

Primero nos pusieron en una habitación q la ventana daba a ras de calle,se oía mucho el ruido de los coches,pedimos la posibilidad de cambiarnos y Eduardo magisimo nos cambió sin problema.lo malo q la gente es muy mal educada y a las 7 de la mañana en la habitacion de al lado pegando gritos, en fin.hubicacion buenisima, al lado del castillo de san ánguelo y muy cerca del vaticano. Te mueves andando sin problema a todos lados.

We chose this property due to its location, which didn't disappoint. Close to bus line, restaurants, and some attractions. What is important to note, which was not in they're description, is it is NOT recommended for anyone with a mobility disability. Yes, there is an elevator, but it is a 1 person sized lift. It took multiple trips to just get our luggage upstairs. I barely fit in the lift with my walker. Hallways, shower entrance, and doorways are extremely narrow, and there are steps in the building and room itself, which make it very hard to safely move if you have any challenges at all. Overall, the property was fine, and suited our basic needs, but the accessibility of a place needs to be clearly described, as to not cause confusion and discomfort for future visitors.

We had a lovely stay at La Residenza dell'Angelo. It is situated in such a convenient spot for walking to the big sites in Rome. The dining options within 10 minutes of the location are fanastic and varied.

Highly recommend
We stayed here for 5 nights in August 2023. It was great, people were lovely & helpful. Apartment was clean & had all the facilities you need, air conditioning, washing machine & dryer. Coffee! Pod machine. Very comfortable & close to cafes, beautiful alley ways. You don’t really need to taxi anywhere once you work out the laneways which are all on the same side as the hotel

All the workers were so kind and so sweet. Check in and check out was a BREEZE. It is located on a quiet street with a couple restaurants right downstairs. A yummy cafe across the street and up a few steps. Highly recommend.

It was ok for one night, please be carful where you leave your car. Someone already tried to break in and brock the car window. The hotel was easy to check in was uncomplicated very central, but very loud.

1) you need Whatsapp to check in but it doesn't say that anywhere before booking... Which is fine but wish I knew before I booked as I would have picked a place with a human at reception because I had to go find free wifi to get the information despite telling them my check-in time and when I'd be without service. 2) they have no one at the front desk despite saying on their website they do. I was out every morning at 930 and often back randomly between activities and saw no one other than one cleaning lady 3) this is not a hotel. This is a street that has one "hotel company" renting out rooms on a block. There were 5 units where I specifically stayed. 4) if there's a fire there's only one way out so you're dead if there's any issues. 5) there was no warm water other than my first morning. There was no one at the front desk. The person kept reading my whatsapp messages but didn't respond until I called Orbitz. 6) they told Orbitz their front desk is "two miles in front" 7) picture they show as an entrance to the hotel is .25 miles away across the water so you actually don't know what these random doors to enter look like as they are super discreet. That said: They were clean Safe neighborhood Great location Frugal So if you don't mind no hot water and you have internet than this may be fine for you. It wasn't awful but I would never stay there again and I wouldn't recommend it.

We are a family of four including a 13 year old daughter and an 11 year old son, it was our first time in Rome. We all loved staying at La Residenza Sant’Angelo! It is in a very convenient location for sight seeing, food, and stores! But those are not the only reasons why we loved the place. Our flight arrived one hour earlier than scheduled and we were out of the airport quick. Without knowing what to do yet, we decided to go straight to La Residenza, I was not sure if it was a full hotel building or an apartment type place, it turned out to be an apartment so there is no sign outside. I rang the doorbell and Simona welcomed us. I explained to her what happened and asked if we can leave our luggages, then she said not to worry they were almost done cleaning up the room and she will check us in. That was a big help! We had time to rest early from ket lag and explore that evening! The room was very clean! We walked barefoot around and our feet remained clean! We got a two bedroom place with two bathrooms! It was perfect for us! The size of the entire room was also just right for us. The bathrooms are small or narrow but the fact that we have two was really great! The only negative if you are sensitive are the noise. It is an older building so you will hear street noise and possibly some neighbors. It did not bother us as we were always very tired from sight seeing. We love the place and our kids missed it already! We highly recommend it!

Great place to stay for a visit to Rome. Within walking distance of all the main attractions as well as lots of nice dining options. Obviously lacks some of the facilities and service of a big hotel but was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the 3 nights we stayed. Only negative was our experience on arrival. ‘Reception’ is on the first floor of an apartment block but there was no sign on the ground to say that and took us a while to work out where to go!

Midden in het centrum van het oude Rome. Taxi/ bus dichtbij. Tevens een klein supermarktje. Accommodatie is prima met een grote badkamer. Matras van het bed mag wat dikker. Verder aanwezig magnetron koelkast airco tv fohn waterkoker en zijn prima. Er zit een hele kleine lift in het in het complex.
