Ascension weekend visit
A convenient little hotel in the outskirts of Rome. Since everything inside Rome was occupied and/or super expensive during our visit I looked for alternatives with good communications and Urban Garden is spot on, located just a short walk from the subway end station Rebibbia. The room was simple, but tidy and everything inside worked perfectly. There are also some chilling areas and a small bar. If you are looking for a good night’s rest, a nice bathroom and a decent breakfast and are willing to do a short and simple commute – this is a really good option when doing Rome.

Ok hotell men tänk på läget
Helt ok hotell, vi valde det pga läget nära ett event vi skulle närvara vid. Jag skulle inte välja det här området för att turista i Rom däremot. Fräscht hotell med terass. Frukosten var inte bra, allt kändes som det var tillagat dagen innan.

BED BUGS !
Got bed bugs as a souvenir from this hotel!!!!! STAY AWAY !!!! Bad neighbourhood. Even the reception staff tells you not to go out at night. Stay behind the high fence and locked gates. The reception staff really gives you the feeling that they couldn't care less about your stay. There could be some information the there are no restaurant in the area.

Dear Roger, we are really sorry if you found some bugs in you room. It never happened before. We remember that reception is open 24h if you find a situation like this you could call us. Also we are sorry to read what you wrote about the staff. We NEVER told to any guest to not get out at evening. We always try to do our best to make the guests enjoy their stay and reading that we don't care about them is really offensive! And also there are many restaurant near by that offer pizza pasta and also asiatic food. We really don't understand this comment. Regards U.G. Staff

Die Fotos der Unterkunft entsprechen nicht der Realität. Es wird zwar durchweg renoviert, aber für die Fotos wurden wahrscheinlich nur die besten Zimmer genommen. In der Anlage selber wird nicht wirklich gepflegt. Irgendwelches Zeug liegt rum und Tische rosten. Die Polster der Außenmöbel sind voller Katzenhaare. Alles in allem ist der Preis für 5 Übernachtungen mit 610,-€ ohne Frühstück überteuert.

Nella descrizione ci sono ristoranti nelle vicinanze a piedi “ visto la scarsa comodità per arrivare in auto” prezzi molto simili agli hotel del centro con zero comfort. Camera non finestrata e accessori bagno vecchi. Da un hotel tre stelle che chiede più di 84 euro mi aspetto di più.

Accoglienza, Servizio e Pulizia eccellente. Unico neo, trovasi in quartiere fuori mano con pochi servizi (niente Bar, Ristori o altro). Per fortuna la Struttura e' quasi attaccata alla linea Metro che in dieci minuti ti porta in pieno centro.

Muito bom!
Cafe da manhã excelente,com muitas opções e comida deliciosa. Hotel com instalações boas e moderno, único problema foi o chuveiro que estava com a vazão de água baixa porém sem nenhum problema. Longe do centro e atrações turísticas mas fácil acesso com o metro. Por fim, recomendo demais!

Generally this is a nice little hotel, prefect location close to the metro that goes straight to the colosseum, also inly about 20 mins from ciampino airport. We actually found the location great. Some odd things, there is no kettle in the room, so no tea or coffe making facilities, we took our own coffee sachets and luckily we were able to get hot water from them bar. The rooms are pleasant but very basic, no wardrobe, draws etc and there is a small window within the door, so they do get really stuffy, no private balcony or much natural light in rooms. Staff are lovely, apart from the night receptionist our last night, he was just ignorant. You will be charged city tax of 6 euro pp per night on departure, we didnt know this so be prepared. Do not get a private taxi to/from hotel. We got charged 15 mins wait time by our taxi the day we left even though we got in it on time, apparently as standard they arrive 15 miutes early which our hotel didnt tell us so it was already 23 euros before we even left!.

Hi, No Elevator in this Hotel. They were kind to carry our luggages up and down if we ask hotel people.Hotel room fragrance smell were too strong. Breakfast was good except for coffee. Thanks.

my room option (Comfort Double Room) positive: hotel is near the station is 10min walk with your luggage friendly staff. cleanliness of the room bathroom is clean enough, it has a safe, big enough for two people ONLY. negatives: area of the hotel is dirty and during late evening is unsafe. room (Comfort Double Room) does not have window uses builtin window part of the door to say it's a window, the walls are paper thin you hear all the farts of other guests next to you like surround system, IF YOU NON SMOKER this will be your hell, as other guests can smoke right outside your window-door till late in the evening there's not much around the area.... I WOULD suggest book hotel closer to Rome central if you are staying longer than 2 days.

Staff were lovely and friendly.. Was perfect for what we wanted....to be near the Ryder cup. Only thing would be if they had English subtitles on the TV... couldn't manage to find it asked some other guest's they couldn't either...didn't ask staff as wasn't much of an issue.. would also say maybe check the air con as smelled a bit damp other than that it was lovely..nice to see a resident cat too..

The location is very convenient to the nearby Rebibbia Metro station. You can take the train and bus all over the city, which is the most cost-effective option. It is maybe 2 blocks away which can be trying for an elderly or disabled person. It's not the prettiest area in the city, but I felt safe while I was there and that's the most important factor. The hotel building itself is old, but well-maintained and cute. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the wifi is good, but those are really the only amenities worth anything here. It's a good place to rest your head at the end of the night.

Great Choice!
The Urban Garden Hotel is an absolute gem in Rome. As a hotel with a great rate, it was pleasantly very clean, has an available full breakfast, and the staff were helpful and kind. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious. There is an outdoor garden and patio space to enjoy conversation throughout the day, you can arrive anytime as the front desk is always open, and they have a small bar service as well. This hotel is worth staying at if you are willing to take the metro from Roma Termini to Rebibbia (about 25 min.).

Great affordable place in Rome
Hotel is right by the metro station and was very convenient. The staff went above and beyond and truly made our stay. The only thing to note is the wifi is not strong in the rooms, but it’s great in the lobby. Would definitely recommend!
