  • Sjön hus precis vid vattnet! Nyrenoverat vardagsrum, kök och bad! Speciella funktioner inkluderar en-av-en-typ 1300 kvadratmeter docka och en stor nivålagd veranda med spektakulär utsikt över sjön. --- Stora två nivåer skärmad i veranda med två sittgrupper och en stor matplats. Du kan tillbringa hela din semester på verandan ..... Separat gäststuga har eget badrum, sittgrupp och minikök. Perfekt för par på semester eller familjer som reser med morföräldrar. Hemmet ligger på den västra stranden av Cayuga i den bredaste delen av sjön. Det rymmer enkelt 6-8 personer.

    128 Fötter vid sjön! Enorm docka! Stor trädgård: 1 1/2 tunnland. Spendera tid vid sjön med kanot eller paddling eller bara flyta med medföljande floaties. Spela spel på en gräsmatta som Bocce eller Cornhole.
    Fullt utrustat kök och utomhusgrill.
    Loungestolar på bryggan; adirondackstolar runt en eldstad; svängset för barn. Hundkabel så att hundar kan komma åt gräs, strand, vatten och brygga och fortfarande vara säkra.
    Knotty tall inredning och vedspis gör en avkopplande miljö för din tid bort. Beläget mitt i Cayuga Wine Trail. Det är 45 miles norr om Ithaca och 12 miles från Seneca Falls.

    Hemmet har stora rum med sittgrupp runt en vedspis och ett annat sittområde mot ett vikfönster med utsikt över sjön. Ett sovrum w / queen size-säng, 2: a sovrummet med våningssäng som har en dubbelsäng futon på botten och enkel tvilling på toppen (designad för vuxna), 3: e sovrummet med två enkelsängar. Inuti huset finns också en matplats, fullt utrustat kök, två halva bad och ett badrum.

    Separat gäststuga har: badrum, full storlek säng, futon (queen size,) mikrovågsugn, kylskåp kaffebryggare och frukostbord.

    Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls mot en extra avgift.

Everything about this property was great. The host, Janice, definitely went the extra mile to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She added nice touches to the property, had great communication, and made the check-in process seamless. She really ensured everything was taken care of so we could just relax and focus on our vacation. The property itself is as close to the water as you can get and is great for kids, pets, and fun for adults. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Everything you could possibly need!

Loved our stay at this Cottage. It had absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing time. Even in cooler temperatures, we had plenty to do. Heaters worked great in the sunroom to be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the lake while staying warm. We will definitely be back to utilize this lovely home again.

This property had everything we could image. We brought the regular "stuff" needed, but ended up taking it back home. Even the weather was perfect. One little hick-up - we got a flat tire on our boat trailer on our way home.

Annual family vacation

This had everything we were looking for: Easy access to the lake, no close neighbors (very quiet), plenty of small group sitting areas inside and out. Owner provided clear instructions for using everything on the property and kept in touch during our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were amazingly well stocked. From boats and games (inside and out) to easy access to Cayuga Lake attractions, we couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely week on the lake

The house was in a prime location - right on the lake! It was well equipped with all of the items we needed. We love to cook and did so every day. Everything was well thought out with the rental to make it as enjoyable as possible. The two story sunporch was amazing and when we were indoors that's where we were. Thanks, Janice for sharing your little puece of heaven with us.

Perfect place!

I loved this little cottage! We were celebrating my daughters wedding this weekend at Cayuga lake state park which was a short distance away and this cottage was the perfect size. Being the mother of the bride,I loved the little apartment across the road,was nice and quiet and cute. The porch was a great place to sit at night and listen to the waves. Nicely stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for sharing youre space with us,look forward to staying here again. Sandy Gorall

Cozy lakeside cottage

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, celebrating a 50th birthday. The house itself feels like a home. Everything is comfortable and feels like real people exist in the space - unlike a cold condo or hotel. Every amenity is provided and the extra personal touches really made us feel welcome. Location is fantastic. The dock, beach area, and screened porch allow enjoyment of the lake whether you want to be in the water or relax on dry land. Janice is a fabulous host & made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Communication was easy. The info kit covered so many great recommendations for indoor and outdoor fun nearby. I'd absolutely come back to this cottage again. It really feels like home from the first moment you walk through the door.

Pros and cons

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home Some Pros: The lake and views are breathtaking Kayaks and paddle boards and great deck to enjoy the lake. Wonderful sunroom and heater was a nice touch. Allows dogs!!! Fully stocked kitchen 2 half baths one full bath Fenced in area Some cons: It's very much a home and you feel like you are staying in someones home. The house has Musty, camp smell. You have to park across the street. the street is high speed very nerve-racking up crossing the street with kids and dogs The pictures were not accurate or Up to date. Looked nicer in the photos. Kids were looking forward to projection and movie night ( one of our night was raining) Popcorn machine looked gross we didn't use could not find projection as shown in photos( sharing so owner is aware) The welcome basket was dingey used cups with a bottle of wine and a wrinkled bottoms of a purse pack of almonds ( it was comical) im mentioning this because I don't believe the owner of the camp put this together and should be aware. The guest house is a garage and very much looks and feels like a garage. Very disappointed Overall my family enjoyed the time away, I understand Finger Lakes are expensive but I feel like I paid for the view and outside area not the house.

Our family vacation

Great location, awesome sunrises ! Everything you need is there. Outside area and screened in porch is amazing! Perfect place for your family vacation. Janice is very friendly and accommodating host. Ladies wine tasting weekend

wonderful getaway on the lake! the screened in porch is EVERYTHING. 3 comfortable bedrooms in the main cottage, one with a half bath en suite, plus a full bath and another half bath in the main cottage. we put an air bed in the living room (however, no AC in the living room, just window units in the bedrooms). the guest cottage has a full bath, a comfortable bed and a futon, and paintings of Eisenhower everywhere 😂 we loved this place, and Janice was wonderful and so helpful, offering advice to help plan our wine tasting itinerary. Highly recommend!

Great spot right on the water!

Janice has a lovely place and the house is full of a lot of ambiance and fun things. Our extended family and three dogs had a great time! Lots to do and see in that area, plus just canoeing around and playing corn hole. The only thing I'd mention is that the road separates the main house and the Eisenhower cottage and it has a lot of fast moving traffic on it. Overall we loved it and will return.

The property was in a great location in Lake Cayuga. Close to vineyards on Cayuga and Seneca. Janice was a pleasure to deal with. The house had everything we needed for our stay.

extremely close to main highway.

Cottage was nice and we very much enjoyed the enclosed porches. The cement dock is nice, however, we were disappointed that we were unable to dock our boat there. I wish we had known how close to the highway the cottage was, approximately 10 feet from a road that is traveled at high rate of speed in that area. Fortunately, we were able to keep our dogs out of the road for the most part until the last night we were there when they managed to bolt out the door when we were coming home and ran straight into the highway. Thank the Lord that nothing was coming and we were able to safely get them back into the house. Janice is an awesome host, and the welcome gifts and parting gifts for appreciate it. Thank you for a enjoyable week Janice.

Even better than the photos. A beautiful place to play with kids, read a book, and unwind. The property set up with the guest house was perfect for an inter generational vacation with Nana. Will hopefully be back next year!

Relaxing and fun get away!

The cottage is close to the water which made it easy to cast a line out for fishing and sitting on the screened in porch listening to the lake. It was very relaxing. Fun times on the kayak and paddle boat which you can also fish from 🎣🙂. Janice is very responsive and her cottage is wonderful but that screened in porch is awesome!!! A lot of wineries are close too! The guest house is adorable. I would recommend staying here. Thanks Janice!

Awesome lakefront home!

We loved staying at this home. It was just about perfect for our needs ... it's dog-friendly, kid-friendly (two small but nearly-identical sized bedrooms for our girls worked out perfectly), and friend-friendly with the separate guest house across the street. Janice was an absolute pleasure to work with. She replied quickly and accurately to any questions we had, and the nice touches like treats and toys for the kids, dog, and grown-ups were all greatly appreciated! This is one of the better vacation rentals we've seen in terms of amenities ... plenty of dishes, plates, shampoo & conditioner, towels, boats, fishing supplies, and lots more. The layout worked well for our group, and the two-level sunroom is amazing. Just a few (very) minor comments for awareness for future renters ... - The photos show a swing set in the yard, but there is no swing set. This was a bit of a disappointment for our girls as this was a strong selling point for this home. But there is a nice playground a few minutes drive down the street. - The guest house kitchenette is functional, but our friends had to stop by several times for things that could easily have been included like silverware. - As other reviewers have mentioned, the parking & guest home are separated from the main home by a road. It's not particularly busy, but the cars drive FAST. Just be aware if you have small kids or dogs! Overall, we loved our trip and would absolutely return to this wonderful home. Thanks Janice!

cayuga family vacation

me and my family stayed here for a week in early june 2021. we had a great time, the extra cottage across street comes in real handy. most places dont have this ! a two level screened in porch is also great to have. my favorite was the huge space on the dock area along the water. Janice was super easy to work with, and she also left some gifts and dog treats - that was great!

Wonderful Late May Stay

The cabin was perfect- the views and location were everything we wanted. The screened in porch was our favorite spot on hot days. Janice was extremely responsive as was her property manager who put in the A/C units early for the unseasonably hot days at the end of May. Looking forward to staying again

Right on the water, with the guest cottage right across the street, so a lot of space for sleeping and spreading out! The view is gorgeous, with lots of windows and outdoor space to sit and relax. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful Views

The view alone makes this property worth it, we could sit out by the water all day and night! The cottage had everything you could think of, including cute treats for yourself and dogs! The paddle boat was fun to take out and the rock beach was so fun to skip rocks! Janice was in communication with me the whole time prior to check in and was super friendly and easy to work with. We will absolutely be renting this cottage again!

Lovely lake house

This house was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. We were there on a cold November weekend, and the lake house was comfy and cozy. It was lovely waking up to the sunrise over the lake—the waterfront is right there. The house is well equipped with everything you would need. Janice is a fabulous host. The road is close, and we did hear the traffic, especially at night. But you probably wouldn't notice at all if you were out by the water. We would love to come back in the summer, to really take advantage of the outdoor space.
