Thank you for your suggestions Dorie. We take our guest reviews to heart & use them to improve on every stay. We have been hosts for 8 yrs, however we will update our listing to even more clearly state that the 600 sq ft is not the entire home or pool. We do not do long term stays for more then 2 persons, but we are happy we could accommodate your family of 6 for 1 night. I so wish we could have accommodated you with the pool. We have just not been able to heat the private 22'X40' pool to 80 degrees, chemical & maintain it for guests for the standard nightly fee alone. We have kept our nightly rates average with an option to rent the pool separately, thereby allowing families of 6 to stay all together at a reasonable rate. The apartment sized kitchen, is definitely not meant for cooking large meals for 6- but I've done it when necessary ;) We maintain an incredibly clean apartment, that is disinfected between each stay. The white on the faucet is a calcium deposit from the hard water, we did install a water filter & will be changing the faucet when we close for the winter. I apologize we did not have a sign by the sink to explain & that it caused you any discomfort. We have found the wild flowers, lilac archway, ground cover & rose beds to be appealing & calming to most guests, we will add a better description to accommodate those that might not find it lovely. There are 240 home stay units in the area, however summer at Flathead Lake is pretty spectacular so I am happy you had a place for your quick stop.

This is a less than honest review of a very strange communication & request for a refund (which was given) after the reservation ended & you never arrived. I truly tried hard to accommodate your family of 9 that you booked for 4. I am sorry for the difficulty for both of us. D

Wallie I was so sad to see your review. I am sorry I was not available during your stay to make you feel more at home. I was away with a very ill parent & unable to be a better host. I hope you can return to Montana & have a better experience. D
