“We loved this place! Perfect location and we got the top floor of the house to ourselves. Very clean everywhere, a great shower and lovely comfy beds and bed linen. A very filling and hearty breakfast as well and Mark was very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault this lovely bed and breakfast at all, highly recommend it and we will be back again hopefully. Bamburgh also a lovely place to stay! ”

“This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at...

Vi bodde på två executive rum och de hade ett eleganr möblemang som fick oss känna som om vi befann oss i en Jane Austin roman fast med modern komfort.Allt tipp topp. Ett vackert herresäte med en underbar trädgård. “Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....

“Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
