“This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music...

“Room was spotless, newly renovated. There was construction going on at the time but the workers were so friendly and as soon as they knew we were there became very conscious of when to start and stop work. Everyone was so friendly!! Loved our stay!!”

“I had a wonderful stay at this motel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, and parking was easy. Great value for the price. Some areas could use a bit of updating, and the Wi-Fi was a little slow.”

“Quirky proprietress, especially at check-in, but after that lovely. The rooms were beautiful and were made up every day of our four-night stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the proprietress prepared it with care and flexibility for different dietary needs. Dog and cat co-hosts were adorable. Helpful tips on things to do and see were tailored to individual needs. All in all, this was a very enjoyable stay!”

“The Ceilidh Lodge was just what we needed for our 2 day getaway to see the Autumn colours on the Cabot Trail Conveniently located close to dining and shops in Baddeck- owners very welcoming and accommodating as we had a small dog. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, good food and very well set up to serve yourself. Staff very professional and nice calming music played at breakfast ”

“The Staff was exceptional upon my late arrival, after being delayed on the ferry. He was a very kind and helpful. Upon entry to my room, I noticed how clean it was and so spacious! The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a body wash instead of face soap for the shower. However with that being said I could have brought my own in and didn’t haha. I’d say this was a wonderful place to stay and will book after every ferry crossing because it’s so close and it was nice to wake refreshed...
