“We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you.”

“This is a really nice hotel with many of the amenities and thoughtful touches for which Marriott is known. The staff were all excellent, the lobby is perfect for small groups desiring to gather but with some privacy, and our room was very comfy. The pool and gym are also very nice. ”

“The price was right. The room was clean. There were a few things that could be better: The elevator became noisy, there was some broken glass in the window next to the elevator on the 5th floor, and the light in the bathroom would not stay on but rather blinked, but you get what you pay for. I would return.”

“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

“Very nice staff, great suites, nice pool, sufficient breakfast. Our room was chilly and no toothpaste, but what a great place for our extended family to meet up for the holidays! Everyone was loving the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom rooms. Not complaining, it was great! Loved it! Everyone did! Thank you for the happy memories ”

“The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Omesha made our breakfast and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We definitely will stay here again when we come back. I utilized the fitness room each morning and was very happy with my stay. The lighting in the rooms were kind of dim and the water pressure could use some more pressure. Despite those 2 bumps I definitely will stay again. Thank you!!”
