Trying to be objective here. The house met our needs. It is spacious. There was plenty of room for these 6 adults to spread out, share meals and have fun. The house needs a lot of maintenance. The fireplaces (2) did not work. We called the site manager who was responsive over email/text but the problem could not be fixed during our stay. Disappointing that one of the key selling points was not operable. The coffee maker was not properly installed. We averted the mess of an overflow by quick action. One of us was able to find the missing part in a cabinet, install it and save us a greater hassle. (Saved me 30 for buying a new one since I wasn’t going to mess around w a broken coffee maker all weekend.) NOTE - the MIL suite can only be accessed through a dark scary garage or going from the living room to the patio to the suite. Not ideal. The third/bunk room is usable but unattractive and in poor shape. The bedspread in the second bedroom was torn. Throughout - burned out light bulbs, badly chipped paint, unfinished and mostly inoperable bathroom doorway in the MIL suite. The flatware (forks, etc.) are old and too used and need replacement. The towels were very used and need replacing. Keep an eye on the fridge door. It doesn’t close fully unless you really lean on it. Carpet in all the bedrooms. I don’t like that because it hides dirt and grossness. SUMMARY: Great location. Nice assortment of spaces. Not the luxury the price suggests.
