An hour and a half away from Los Angeles - Enjoy this cozy cabin in a perfect location between Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. The 2-story cabin has vaulted ceilings and a large back deck nestled among the trees. Perfect for a romantic weekend or small family getaway.

Your pet is welcome for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per day of your stay. Please inform us when you book your reservation.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:

LARGE DECK- Nestled among the trees, equipped with propane fire-pit table/ chairs, picnic table/ chairs, outdoor heater, gas barbecue & cafe lights.

MAIN ROOM - Super comfy with vaulted ceiling, a rock fireplace & small dining area. Sliding glass door leads out to the main deck.

TV - Amazon Firestick with Netflix, HULU, Prime Video, Apple TV, HBO Max, Showtime, Pandora, etc. There are some DVDs to watch too.

Super-fast WIFI (300Mbps) throughout the cabin

PARKING - Just a few steps to the front door, can usually fit 2 cars, HOWEVER IN WINTER CONDITIONS, CAN BE LIMITED TO 1 CAR ONLY! Depending on snow removal availability.

Ring Camera located at front door.

SLEEPS FOUR - Both bedrooms are located downstairs. One bedroom has a queen bed with a TV (with Amazon Firestick & same streaming services as living room TV), and the 2nd bedroom has a full size bed.

KITCHEN - Fully-equipped & open to the main room/living room, has a full-size stove and oven, a full-size fridge, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, French Press & electric kettle, microwave, toaster, blender & plenty of cookware, plates, glasses, utensils, etc.

FULL BATHROOM - Tub w/ shower, located upstairs off the living room.

VISITING IN WINTER:
During winter, please look up road conditions with Caltrans for Highway 330 and HWY 18 on your travel days. On some occasions, you will be required to carry chains/cables with you… Check the weather for Running Springs, California before your stay and properly prepare for the forecasted weather. Also, please note that power outages occur from time to time due to bad weather or system maintenance in the mountain region.

• CEDAR GLEN (15 min drive. Nice antique shop and amazing old malt shop)
• FAWNSKIN (20 min drive. Great hikes and gorgeous Big Bear Lake views)
• HIKING - Many great hikes exist all over the mountain including our favorites, Children's Forest/ Exploration trail, Keller's Peak, The Narrows in Running Springs, and also Aztec Falls.

The Spring/ Summer season in all forest homes brings out insects— it’s just part of mountain living, so please be understanding.
