Modern High End Cabin #2 on Horsehead Lake

  • Roxy Ridge is a very unique luxurious cabin development that boast incredible National Forest and Lake views within walking distance to Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center. Roxy Ridge is the second cabin within the development that contains a full kitchen that overlooks the open living room and balcony. The unit has one bedroom, sleeper sofa, and bathroom including a washer and dryer. The balcony will take your breath of the surrounding nature and the tree-top feel of it all. There is also a gazebo with 360 degree views, screened windows, furnished with a fire pit table, couch and 2 chairs to provide a unique experience even in inclement weather. Want a real fire pit. No problem. It is located in the private courtyard next to the cabin and also includes a gas grill with outdoor seating and picnic table. The cabin comes complete with all furnishings including a fully stocked kitchen, luxurious bath and bed linens. Bring your ATV's, UTV's, boats, kayaks,, and dogs! We have kayaks, canoes and peddle boats available for guests to use at 2 private docks, one has a walking trail and the other has vehicle access. Or bring your hammock and simply enjoy relaxing in nature. Whatever your preference we are certain you will enjoy your stay!

Great cabin with plenty of privacy. The viewing tower was incredible. I caught the sunrise over the lake twice!Check in and out was easy and smooth. Questions we answered in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

The cabin & the property was remarkable! The interior overall was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the living area & looking out the upper windows to see the breeze blowing the trees & the birds flying from limb to limb, plus the occasional squirrel. That's the first time we've been able to see & enjoy so much of nature from inside a cabin. We spent an early morning & a late night sitting out on the patio identifying all the different wildlife we either saw or heard. All-in-all a super relaxing experience whether we were outside or inside the cabin. We even took the opportunity to climb to the top of the observation deck that gave us a breathtaking 360 degree view of the area around us. Our impression was that the cabin, property & observation deck were intelligently & thoughtfully designed & built to maximize a visitor's comfort & enjoyment. We are definitely making plans to return this fall.

Quiet Getaway

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We stayed here during a family member’s wedding weekend at the event center down the road. It was the perfect place for us to be in the mix, but able to have our own space too. The cabin had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the outdoor sitting areas. Definitely a great spot for a quiet escape!

Really neat cabin in the woods with secluded feel. We rented all three of the cabins for my family for our wedding at the adjacent Horsehear Lake Lodge. These cabins are really unique and a neat experience. They were clean and the AC ran great even with nearly 100 degree temps outside.

Notable thoughtful inclusions like kitchen spices, well laundered extra blankets, good quality pillows, Exceptional on site lighting all around & heating/cooling systems are very adequate.

Thanksgiving guest

This was our 2nd Thanksgiving at this cabin. We had such a great time the first year, we were so happy to be able to stay this year. The new look out tower was an awesome surprise when we arrived!

This cabin was the perfect little getaway. It was very well stocked and very well throughout.

We enjoyed a weekend in this adorable cabin with with lots of extras. Very quiet location. Very impressed with how well It was stocked. I feel like it was very well thought out!

Treetop Oasis

The property was beautiful and it was exactly as described. We enjoyed the fire table in the gazebo on a couple chilly nights and loved looking out over the lake from the top of the viewing tower. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. This place is great for just a couple to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere or it would be fun to get together with friends and family here as there are multiple outdoor spaces for gathering. Overall the cabin is amazing and look forward to another visit!
