âThe hotel is a quick 10/15 minute walk from the main shopping area snd cathedral area. It is modern and we enjoyed the air conditioning and comfortable beds. We didnât eat at the restaurant but it looked nice!â

âGreat service from check in, around the bar and check out. Room was perfectly clean, clean bathroom with powerful shower. Extremely comfy bed and amazing pillows!
There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room but free tea and coffee in the bar for members and it actually got you out of bed and up so this wasnât an issue!
Close enough to the arena to drive or taxi there, was around 5 miles, and the taxi cost ÂŁ8.

âThe rooms at this hotel, at least the one they choose to give us was in really bad shape. The tap in our room was leaking and had a lot of buildup on it, disgusting. The mirrors were not cleaned and the headboard was in a bad state, adding to the bad experience. In the dining room we were not welcome to dine since the entire restaurant was occupied by guests not staying at the hotel. No warning that you had to make reservations weeks before was given to us. We later on got a table by the barâŠ...

âA unique and quaint property. Owners have a long history with owning the beautiful lodge. Perfect for what we needed (1 might stop over). Would love to go back once fully renovated as a wedding venue. It has so much potential and I wish them all the best. Quirky fact - Charles Dickens stayed here back in his heyday! â
âReally clean, spacious and loads of plug sockets which was great. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed and car park out the back was very convenient. We walked to Coventry Arena close by, through the big Tesco round the back and found other shops too - incredibly handy would definitely go back. Met the owner and he was really nice, and asked if there was anything he could do - really lovely service. Easily 5*.â
âResponded promptly to a point we made about the shower - NEW shower!! Breakfast AWESOME never ate at lunchtime for four days as breakfast so plentiful. Fan was changed out on day 2 (thank you we did not request this so a nice gesture). â
