âI have known this property for many years and used to be very quiet with few rooms but now developed with many more rooms and staff but still keeps it's friendly charm. Lovely settings in quiet residential surroundings opposite the golf course.

âThis is an absolutely beautiful property. Amazing staff. The chef made a delicious omelette. The lake views and sunrise will not soon be forgotten â

âThis hotel has ambitions to be a luxury hotel. It probably has been. But now the furniture and textiles are worn out, the flowers indoors has seen its best days, the supply in the small bar in the lobby is very bad. Birds were flying indoors eating from the buffe but no one seemed to bother. The pool had green algiers.
When I checked in at 4.30 pm (3 pm is the check in time) the room wasn't available. Suddenly they found a room but in a lower standard and gave it to me. But the staff in at the...
âTo me Afrique Boutique has this low key, down to earth, at home kind of feeling. During business travel perfect to have a calm and quiet place to go to in the evening.â
âWe stayed at this hotel the night before our flight from Johannesburg. The hotel is only 5-10 minutes away from the airport, by car, with both bars and restaurants close by. (We went to Il Gusto and got really good pasta). The room was nice with everything we needed and the breakfast was fine. This hotel was a much better option, than the one we stayed at the night when we arrived to South Afrika (Aero Guest Lodge).â
âWe made a one night stop here after a visit to Kruger and it was great. Helpful staff, good service and nice rooms. The hotel may not have many interesting things close to it bu there are always ubers nearby to take you to your desired destination. A great stay!â

âA good budget stay outside Johannesburg - on the way to the Kruger Park.
We arrived quite late in the evening. (And we missed that it is common to inform if it is a late arrival). Anyway, we got a house of our own. It was clean, but a bit cold (but we slept very good anyway).
Breakfast was superb!
It si safe with gates, but the internet just works in the main building.

âAirport Tower Lodge was the perfect stay for our overnight before our next flights. The beds were extremely comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. The property is beautiful, we loved all the details and the spaciousness. They even had a well stocked honesty bar that was very convenient as we didn't have a car. The transfers both from and to the airport were seamless. â
âThe manager cares about the customers very well. He is very helpful and made our stay the best possible. Thanks a lot. I will come back again, thanks to him.â

"There was no running water in the entire hotel. We were told there was a water outage in the entire neighborhood. You would expect that a hotel such as Holiday Inn would have a reserve tank especially since water outages are not a novelty in Johannesburg.
We were told the hotel was providing complementary drinking water in our rooms and would also provide water for baths. In a family room for 4, there were two 330ml water bottles. Reception wasnt picking up calls from rooms. Overall, not what I expected from the hotel. I hope this was a one off and that they would normally handle all of this better. "
