I liked the low cost of a one night stay but ended up paying a little extra to stay somewhere else after I checked into my room. The odour of the whole hotel was musky and damp, including the room. I was told no cleaners were going to be in for a few hours, by that time I was ready to leave. Dark room with same moldy smell, smoke detector not installed (left on night stand). One chair in the room with the cushion flipped over because the proper side was in rough condition. Bathroom had lime stains all over the tub and shower, looked as though minimal effort was put into cleaning a bare minimal room. Windows were dirty and the carpet didn’t feel inviting as I would not have dared walking in the hotel without shoes on. Getting a refund was not hard and did not seem surprising to the staff. Unless there was a revamp of the whole building, I would not even consider this as an option if you have any hotel standards at all. Felt bad for the staff because no manager was on site, but they were new employees and handled my situation with class and respect. Still, will not stay or recommend this hotel in the future.

They didn’t have any rooms cleaned when we showed up, the room they gave us didn’t even have toilet paper. The shower still had hair on the walls, not really sure if the room was cleaned or not. Came back in the evening and it smelt like a dog crapped through out the whole floor. The young man at the front looked as if he was thrown into his position. This place needs someone to care about it

Old, smelly, dirty, dead wood bugs, dingy, expensive and didnt even have shampoo, conditioners or bodywash. If it literally wasnt the last hotel room on your site i would have left and we wont return

Bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor and in the bath tub. Carpet was dirty. Very disappointing since we have stayed there many times before.

One word ... DON'T!
The Room was such a disaster when we arrived that even the Bedbugs were leaving. The Carpet looked like it had seen a vacuum in years. So we went back to the Front desk to cancel our stay and were told that it was understandable and they hear it all the time - YIKES!

We actually thought we were booking in to motel 6 they gave us the impression that it was motel 6 we were booking in to , we didn’t stay there we went across the road and stayed at motel 6 it was 100% better

I like the room price but it shouldn't come at the expense of cleanliness. The bathroom was absolutely filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in a month of daily use. I took pictures because no one would believe me that it was so dirty.

Instead of the Super 8 motel, this place should be called the Super Bates motel. Horribly run down rooms with burn holes in carpets and bathrooms that are literally falling apart. Our bed consisted of metal springs that poked us all night and I don’t think they have gotten new pillows since 1980. Never again. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Very used furniture and dirty carpets. extremely noisy heating system and when we shut it off, we got so cold with the few thin blankets provided. As well there was snow at 6AM in front of the hotel and our taxi had a hard time picking us up to take us to the airport. We made it barely on time and yet we were close to the airport. Check out staff were seldom behind the counter and we couldn't check out properly... no receipt. We are Wyndham rewards members but we think we will be avoiding this chain or at least this one in the future.

Slightly off the highway, so quiet. Close in driving distance to Butchart Gardens and Sidney. Simple breakfast satisfactory, microwave and fridge in the room. Would appreciate a teabag at breakfast. Curtains unevenly hung.

Not impressed with this place. The room was dirty, bathroom wasn’t cleaned, dirt and body hair on the floor. The flat sheet on the bed appeared to be from a previous night , as well as, there wasn’t even a fitted sheet over the mattress! The door handle to the room needs repair. The back door entry to the main floor, didn’t even lock... anyone could have come in and out all night long. I was looking for something economical for one night, but this was not a place I would stay again..... ever.

We apologize we were unable to satisfy your expectations. However, there are few things that i want to point out. 1, "the door handle to the room needs repair" i can assure you that we can not give a room to a guest with a faulty door handle because it against safety code and i can advise you never to accept and stay in such room wherever you go to a hotel because it's a safety code issue and you're not obliged to take a risk the fact that you pay for your accommodation. 2, "The back door entry to the main floor, didn't lock" Yes we don't lock our two main entrances (front and back) due to fact that our smoking guest would like to go out side to smoke and sometimes they forget their room keys in the rooms and they get inconvenienced to get back in. At the same time, our back room guests sometime they would like to pick up their things from the cars and it's to their convenience. And as you may have realized we have someone on the main floor 24 hours. once again we apologize for the inconvenienced that this may have coursed to your stay.

The room was not well kept and had a strange musty smell. The towels were threadbare. The toilet leaked and you could hear it run all day/night, so I had to shut it off. The fan/heat/AC had a strange noise it made periodically, making me think it was about to "takeoff". The continental breakfast was adequate. I mentioned these things to the staff, but they did nothing. Check-in was quick, check-out was easy.

I chose this place as it was close to Ferry and I would never recommend it to anyone. The rug was stained from something I could not describe.

The receptionist was very helpful unfortunately we were very disappointed with the condition of the hotel.The rooms were very dirty and had a very pungent odor.We were lucky that our friends offered us a place to stay because we didn't even stay at the hotel at all.

It was terribly bad experience. Very cheap but very dirty rooms spiders and other insects were in the room. Dust was sitting on everything. Very old style TV with faulty remote. I won't recommend it.

This place was really terrible. I don’t think the sheets were even changed from the previous guest. The shower curtain had disgusting build up as well as the tub. The hallway had a stingent smell to it. I was surprised I didn’t see bed bugs but I can’t say for sure they weren’t there. The staff was really nice and friendly but overall I will not be back. It may be cheap but it wasn’t worth it

Location is great for overnight stay before visiting Victoria. Priced fairly, but condition is poor. It's totally just an old motel now.

In all the years of travelling and staying in hotels and motels this was the very worst. no light bulbs in lamps mold in tub wiring in suite suspect.The mirror was cleaned with dirty rag. humming old colour tv. Ive stayed in Super 8 two years ago in Strathmore Alberta and it was great. Everything was good. This is no example of a Super 8 motel that Iam use to. This is an embarrassment for the chain and for expedia to represent.

cet hôtel était malpropre. Le tapis, les serviettes et les murs étaient Tachés. Le silicone de la douche était plein de moisissure et l’email De la douche etait tout jaune. De plus, la fenêtre ne barrait pas et comme nous étions au premier niveau, n’importe qui aurait pu entrer dans notre chambre.

The service was very kind Although, the building its self could use a deep clean and or carpet replaced. Holes in screens as well as shower curtain was stained at the bottom. None of these are huge deals, I have stayed in worse, but much better also.

Staff very friendly and helpful - needs serious renovation and disinfected. Carpets are filthy, sleeper couch mattress looked like someone had been stabbed in it . Mold in bathroom and shower curtain stuck together with sticky stuff??? don't open the fridge - unless you want a mouthful of mold. Don't stay here - its disguising!!!
