Genuint och vackert hotell
Mysigt och genuint hotell med en otrolig placering. Hotellet ligger precis intill floden med restaurang och pool med en vacker utsikt med vinfält runtom. Rummet var helt okej, inte det modernaste men charmigt. Vi fick en flaska vin från den lokala vinfrmen när vi checkade in samt en privat rundtur. Vi var väldigt nöjda!

Short stay in Douro Valley
Fantastic area, incredible views, super friendly staff, very nice room, not the biggest swimming pools but they were very nice, easy walk into Pinhão. Remember to book a table in the restaurant if you want to eat there. Also consider that this place is on the hillside, so the area is not flat. I can really recommend a trip to Douro Valley and to stay at Quinta de la Rosa.

Väldigt fin vingård
Quinta de la Rosa är en underbar vingård som måste besökas. Läget är fantastiskt, maten är god och vinet likaså. Personalen är väldigt lyhörd och rummen är jättefina. Parkering finns inne på området. Frukosten är god med underbar utsikt.

Perfectly situated hotel in Pinhao
Great place to stay at. Rooms excellent and clean. Breakfast excellent and dinner was good with excellent wines. However, the indoor atmosphere in the restaurant is very boring and sterile.

Fantastiskt läge och utsikt. Mycket fin restaurang. Många säkerhets åtgärder och höggradig hygien pga Covid-19 vilket tyvärr påverkade även frukosten och det kändes. Rekommenderas varmt.

Trevligt hotell med nya och fräsch rum. Mycket god mat i Restaurangen och som har en fin terrass ovanför floden. Bra läge för utflykter och vinprovning i Douro-dalen. Nära till Pinhao med ytterligare utbud av Restauranger.

Vinresa med vänner
Vi bodde i en svit med egen terass och en härlig utsikt över Dourofloden och bergen. Vi stortrivdes med i stort sett allt och kommer gärna tillbaka. Ca 10-15 min gångavstånd till Pinhao var alldeles lagom, dels för motionen och dels för det totala lugnet. Rekommenderar en liten flodresa på ca 2 tim, en bussresa upp till en vingård, avsl med vinprovning. Allt avgår från Pinhao. Avslutade resan med en natt i Porto, vilket gjorde resan komplett.

Comfortable property with beautiful views and spacious rooms in the heart of the Douro. Slightly awkward room layout with bedroom and bathroom uostairs with limited storage. Excellent restaurant.

Lovely view from our room, quiet (and large!). We stayed one night in March, so we weren't able to use the pool or patio but I imagine it would be close to perfect. Know that there isn't a 24-hour desk...this is not a large hotel...and plan the early checkout accordingly. A quick walk to the boat docks and little town.

Our visit to QDLR was fantastic. It was low season and relatively quiet. Comfy beds, good pillows, fabulous breakfast and we had dinner there one night and it was excellent. It was rainy and cold so we only tried the short hike but the area is beautiful and we hope to return when the weather is better.

Beautiful working winery
We loved this charming and delightful working winery. Please note, as they state, this is not a hotel! It does not have 24/7 concierge! We waited about half hour when we arrived (beautiful scenery; glad it wasn't raining). We also needed to walk about 7/10 of a mile to the train station with luggage in the dark down a road without sidewalks, because Uber wasn't an option at 7:15 a.m. Having a taxi number would have been helpful. In the room, there was a great list of recommendations and 2 complimentary beers. Food was great. We had dinner, happy hour, and breakfast at the quinta, and they even packed us a breakfast to go for the morning that we had to leave early. Really appreciated that! The wine tour and tasting was fun. I regret not immediately purchasing some wines from the gift shop, because the reception area where they are sold was closed when we wanted to go by, so just plan ahead! The room was beautiful, with stunning views of the Douro River. We stayed in Elenor, a two-story room with a living room on the first floor and bed/bath upstairs. Coffee is not available in the room but a few steps away at the communal "living room," where you must bring your Nespresso pods with you to get coffee. Coffee is plentiful, however, during breakfast, which provides an array of options, including fresh-squeezed orange juice and on the day we were there, the special was "chocolate porridge," steel-cut oats topped with fresh coconut, walnuts, and banana. Delicious! Obrigada!

Truly amazing.
Absolutely brilliant. A beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings. The people were so friendly and professional. The service was as good as anywhere I have been. The room was spotless. The bathroom was stocked with Molton Brown products and the food and drink was of the highest order. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone. The only thing I can’t truly describe is how good it made me feel staying there.

the facility/ surrounds were amazing and beautiful. the staff were helpful but at times not the most attentive. it was clear (as we spoke a bit of Portuguese) that we were just paying customers to them, nothing else.

Lovely working vineyard
The quality of everything here exceeded our expectations. We assumed it was just a working winery. It's that and so much more. Luxurious accommodations, beautiful grounds, multiple swimming pools, upscale restaurant. We did a couple of tours, both vineyard and winery with tasting. Both were very well done. Highly recommend.

Spectacular winery/hotel/restaurant perched high on the banks of the Douro just five minutes outside of Pinhao. Parking a challenge, but beautiful, spacious, well-appointed rooms. Lovely refreshing pool just outside our room. Formal and informal restaurants provided exceptional meals-delicious food, excellent service, lovely wines for lunch and dinner; very complete and tasty breakfast buffet. Wine tour and tasting very informative and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and return

Great location, delicious food, friendly staff, beautiful views. Wished there were more tasting options for different wines/ports- the standard had 2 wines, 2 ports. Would have loved to have a reserve wine option for tasting. Wished the restaurant didn't charge literally double the price for their own wines, at least not for people staying at the property, at dinner/restaurant. Or had a corkage fee.

Quinta de la Rosa a été un coup de cœur. La vue est splendide, il y un restaurant gastronomique excellent, le wine tour est très agréable. Nous avons pu également piétiner le raisin lors d’une autre activité. Il y a 3 piscines sur le site. Nous habitions l’emplacement Amarela qui est un peu plus loin. La distance et la côte entre les deux emplacements est raisonnable (nous sommes dans la soixantaine), mais pourrait être éclairé le soir. Les chambres sont très bien (supérieure). Le stationnement est étroit avec une bonne pente. Pas facile pour les transmissions manuelles, mais nous avions été avertis. Nous recommandons fortement.

Stunning views, excellent tour of the winery and tasting, the in house restaurant is superb. Rooms were spotless and the pool has the most mesmerising view of the Douro. Tim’s Terrace serves great light bites and drinks. My new favourite drink is now white port and tonic! Highly recommend!
