All rooms have a cool view of the Pilatus and Lake Sarnen. You can forget about cooking in the kitchen on the 130 m2 seating area with exquisite barbecue ring. Flüeli-Ranft, a small village with no through traffic, was the place of activity of St Brother Klaus (1417 to 1487). The village is characterised by pilgrimage. The birthplace/residence can be visited with or without a guided tour during the summer months. There are 4 restaurants and just as many hotels on site.
The impressive Art Nouveau Hotel Pax Montana with its exquisite cuisine and wonderfully nostalgic bar is just a few minutes' walk from our holiday home. The Aelggi-Alp, the geographical centre of Switzerland, is definitely worth a hike. But the Way of St James also passes practically on the doorstep. Lake Sarnen, which can be reached on foot in around 40 minutes, offers countless bathing bays and a lido with restaurant. We are happy to provide you with bathing towels. The post bus takes you from Sachseln back to Flüeli-Ranft in 12 minutes. Our house is a two-minute walk from the bus terminus.
