Charming 3b/2.5b Waterfront Bluff Villa 2015 on Dataw w/ Beach Pass & Bikes

As soon as you cross over the bridge to Dataw Island, you will know you are somewhere special and it will be your time to relax while staying at our charming coastal villa! Enjoy spectacular water views from the back porch overlooking the tidal waters of Jenkins Creek. Unwind while sitting in one of the Adirondack chairs and watch the sunset over the water from the back porch while dolphins catch their evening meal. The community dock is just steps away and a great place to throw in a fishing line, crab pot or put in a kayak.

Explore the history of the area while touring the island's historic ruins. The island is a peaceful place to walk, run or ride a bike with 5 miles of walking trails. Take a tour of downtown Beaufort where you can enjoy the waterfront park, stroll main streets with its many shops and galleries or enjoy a meal at one of many fabulous restaurants. The pristine beach at Hunting Island State Park is just a short 15-minute drive from the villa.

Our coastal retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home with one bedroom on the 1st floor featuring a king size bed and a private bath. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms – one smaller bedroom with 2 twin beds and the other with a king size bed where you will wake up to breathtaking views of the water. Both bedrooms upstairs share a full bath that is located in between the 2 bedrooms. TVs are located in each of the 3 bedrooms so everyone can catch up on their favorite TV shows.

All of the furnishings have been re-done providing a comfortable coastal vibe. The first floor has an open concept, fully equipped kitchen that is open to the 2 story living area with wood burning fireplace and a comfortable dining room that seats 6. A wall of windows provides magnificent coastal water views from every angle. The living room has plenty of seating to enjoy watching TV, reading a book, or the changing tides. A gas grill is provided for cooking out.

The villa is well equipped for beach trips with a complimentary beach pass, beach towels & chairs, and sand toys for the kids. The villa also comes with 2 adult bicycles for our guests' enjoyment.

For additional guests, there is a half bath right off the main living area and a brand new queen size pull-out couch in the living room, providing 4 distinct sleeping areas that are ideal for golfers or other guests needing separate sleeping accommodations.

A washer and dryer are provided, along with a portable desk and high speed wifi internet, perfect for those who still have to work while on vacation. The villa is pet friendly with prior approval. Please note that there is maximum parking for two cars and that guests must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property.

Whether your ideal vacation is restful or active, Dataw Island has it all. There are endless activities to do with two private 18-hole golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills, a driving range, 8 har tru tennis courts and newly constructed pickleball courts. There are croquet & bocce ball courts to enjoy, a fitness center and spa, and an indoor olympic size swimming pool. The outdoor resort style pool and dining at the club are also just a short walk from the villa. There is also a full-service marina for those who like to travel by boat. Golf cart rentals are also available.

All the club's amenities are accessible to our guests (additional fees may apply depending on the length of stay). Fees for use of the marina, golf, tennis, and croquet are additional.

Dataw Island is a gated community located on the intercoastal waterway only an hour away from Charleston, Hilton Head and Savannah. The villa is also just 15 minutes from downtown Beaufort, the pristine beaches at Hunting Island State Park and Parris Island.
