Enjoy the Island Life in our sun filled vacation home located off Manatee Bay, just north of Saint James City on Pine Island. The home is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood located on wide canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The waters here provide some of the finest fishing in the world and are a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
Pine Island Sound & the intercostal waterway are a quick boat ride as well as the famous beaches of Sanibel & Captiva Island, Cayo Costa and Boca Grande. Store your boat in our covered lift and enjoy the excellent fishing available right from the dock. Dolphins and manatees regularly work their way up and down the canal and a nature preserve is located across the street.
The open floor plan of this nearly 2,000 square foot home offers four bedrooms and three full bathrooms—easily accommodating up to 8 guests. Both master suites include king size beds, have ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers and direct access to the large screened in lanai. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and the fourth bedroom has two twin size beds. Choose to eat at the breakfast bar with granite countertop, in the dining area or outside at the table in the lanai. A full size washing machine and dryer are also available in the laundry room. Lightning fast wi-fi is free for our guests and located throughout the home as well as smart TVs for your use with streaming services or local HD antenna channels.
This is a southern exposure home (which means you have sun throughout the day in the lanai and pool area). Enjoy our heated pool for a swim or lounge in the sun on one of the chaise lounge chairs. In the lanai you will find a gas grill for cooking as well as a propane fire pit table that creates a cozy feel in the evening hours to watch the sunset.
Three kayaks and two bicycles are also available for our guests to use. A paved biking trail is located at the end of Manatee Drive and runs the length of Pine Island (16 miles). Kayaking in the Pine Island Sound and Matlacha Pass offers beautiful scenery—towering mangroves, elegant trees and hidden waterways. Paddle among dolphins and manatees. Bring your fishing poles and pursue the next snook, snapper, redfish or trout.
