“Warm and welcoming and friendly service l. The food and breakfast were really good. I loved the view from my room overlooking the harbor. Good bed, nice and freshly done bathroom with shower. Everything is spotless clean!!! The accommodation is close to everything. I really enjoyed my stay.”

“Utmärkt läge precis vid buss- och tågstation. Trevligt att bo ovanför puben. God middag och frukost”

“Everything was fine.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at Walter. The house is very well maintained with lots of thoughtful little extras and decorations. Communication with the property owners worked like a charm, key was on site with a code sent to us for opening the box directly at the front door. We would love to come back, enjoyed our time at this fantastic little cottage.”

“Great location for what we wanted and the rooms were lovely. Good value and we’d definitely come back. ”

“Amazing house”

“The property was clean and presented well. It was a nice touch with the welcome basket and milk tea/coffee. There were shops/restaurants close by and about. 10 min walk to take buses/trains to other parts of Cornwall. A couple of negatives but not a big deal is that we had to buy toilet paper as we were only left with one spare roll for our 5 night stay. There were roadworks right outside the house every day for the five days.. work crews would show up with machines and start working at...

“Stayed here for a week during the Kernowman triathlon. Needed something on a budget and this more than delivered. Excellent facilities. Some quirks that might make access difficult if you have limited mobility but this is addressed by a stair lift. This is also referenced in the property details. Staff were very friendly.”

Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Map apps and a GPS do not recognize the exact location of the cottage. It took us a long time to find the cottage. Sykes Cottages list the cottage to have a washer (there...

“Had a lovely stay in the loft! The views were fantastic, and the location was amazing—perfectly situated with easy access to other areas. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here!”

“We have stayed all over Cornwall and this is without a doubt the best place we have stayed. It was quiet, relaxing and calm and the decor, calming music and room amenities made it a perfect setting for a relaxing break. The owners are helpful and pay great detail in making sure your stay is the best possible. We would definitely return”
