Les Gîtes du mas Champion

It is a stone farmhouse of the seventeenth century, composed of several buildings located in the south-east of the Cévennes, in a region of wooded hills, very sunny, in the middle of the countryside, at the end of a hamlet and a tarmac road.

In autonomy, I offer you a set for 16 people in 7 bedrooms. It consists of 12 rooms including 7 bedrooms, 3 dining rooms / living rooms including two large dining rooms and a large kitchen, the large activity room, with 4 shower rooms w-c, the bathroom of the Couchant and the bathroom of the Hammam. You will have access to the terrace to the east of the gîte du Levant, the large terrace to the south of the gîte du Milieu, the terrace of the Couchant and below, along the Luquette, stream or torrent depending on the time, the portico with its swings for children, the ping-pong table and in summer, from May 1st, the large above-ground swimming pool of 8 m by 4 m, where you have the feeling of swimming in the middle of the trees, ideal for games and which ensures the safety of the little ones.

The swimming pool is to be shared with us but you have priority. I do the daily maintenance myself.




You will have at your disposal


1. the Gîte du Levant (5/7 people): on the first floor its two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 cm), the other with 3 single beds, 1 bunk bed, its bathroom; on the first floor its dining room with its 2-seater sofa and its kitchen equipped with washing machine and electric hobs, its private terrace to the east with views of the wooded hills and the bridge of the old railway line that passed over the Luquette stream .



2. The Gîte du Milieu (5 people) with:

-its large south-facing terrace equipped with tables, chairs, parasols, 2 barbecues and an outdoor shower room-toilet.
-On the first floor there is a large dining-living room with fireplace, 2 1-seater sofas, an upright piano, a TV screen with receiver with 560 Watts total power, 3D/DVD Blu-ray player compatible with DivX HD, MKV, Wifi built-in DLNA function, USB Host port, television...
- and a large kitchen equipped for groups of 30 people, with dishwasher, microwave oven and 5-burner cooking piano with electric oven, 10-cup coffee maker, Nespresso aluminium capsules, bread grill.

-The Studio with 1 single bed, 1 double bed (140 cm), its bathroom-wc, its kitchen and its small private terrace.


3. The Blue Room (large 160 cm wide bed for 2 people), with its private bathroom and covered terrace.


4. The activity room with its beautiful views of the countryside to the east and south, its 40 m2 wooden floor and its grand piano reserved for concerts. It is an old silkworm farm with a high ceiling that was used to raise silkworms, a seasonal activity in Spring for centuries. You can sleep there. I have 10 beds on mattresses at your disposal (bring your duvets and other mattresses if necessary).

It is a room conducive to relaxation, yoga, massages, relaxation, show with a Yamaha grand piano, where I ask you to take off your shoes when entering to preserve it for this use.

It can also be used as a dormitory for 10 people who must bring their duvet.

5.The Sunset Cottage (9 people):
Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and on the first floor 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed for 2 people, with its beautiful terrace to the west and its garden, its large dining-living room, its kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a microwave oven and a gas stove; its bathroom with bath and shower tray and its separate toilets.



On your own, you bring your sheets, pillowcases, towels, dish towels, charcoal for the barbecues and tablets for the dishwasher .... (rental: 10 € for a pair of sheets and 5 € for 2 towels). You will have blankets for 21 people, beyond that remember to bring your sleeping bags.

I will ask you on arrival for the balance in check or cash, a deposit check of 1000 € after having made the inventory of fixtures with you, which I will not cash and that I will return to you, after a new inventory with you, at the end of your stay.

Allow 1/2 hour for the inventory of fixtures.

End of stay cleaning and tourist taxes are included in this price.

For more than 16 people, you will have an extra charge of €10 per day per person TO BE PAID IN CASH.


The interiors are non-smoking.

Mas Champion is a great place to rest, study or party, under the starry sky.

I am at the end of the hamlet, number 10, on the left, the parking lot is at the end of the tarmac road, on the left. Think about carpooling so you don't get invaded by your cars!!
