Welcome to our charming and typical house located in the heart of the Maronne Valley and the Cantal region. This stone house was fully renovated in 2017 and is furnished with traditional and high-quality pieces: farmhouse wooden table, leather club sofa and armchair, wooden chaise lounge, wooden bed, cantou fireplace with wood stove… The house is fully equipped with all the necessary items and utensils to make you feel right at home!

The house is ideal for families with children, groups of friends or relatives, and couples. All amenities are just 10 minutes away (bakery, butcher, pharmacy, post office, grocery store…).

The medieval village of Salers is 15 minutes away, Puy Violent is 30 minutes, Col de Légal and the GR400 trail are 25 minutes away. Puy Mary is 35 minutes, and Le Lioran ski resort is 1 hour 20 minutes.

The house offers a peaceful natural setting while being close to the Puys and Monts du Cantal, allowing you to hike, cycle, or explore the Cantal region.

A welcome booklet will be shared with you to help you discover the house, as well as recommended places, activities, visits, and nearby hikes.

Cleaning is included in the listed rental price, along with bed and bath linens according to the number of guests. The linen kit includes: provision, preparation, and maintenance of bed sheets, and provision and maintenance of bath linens (1 bath towel + 1 hand towel per person).

Electricity: Actual electricity usage will be billed according to your consumption during your stay (monitored via the Linky meter). Please note, we use an EDF TEMPO meter. Rates vary by day and are displayed inside the house. You will be notified the day before of the next day’s tariff color.

Pets: Allowed at an extra cost. Please confirm when booking. Pets are not allowed on sofas, beds, etc.

Winter driving requirements: From 2021 onward, during winter (November 1 – March 31), it is mandatory to equip your vehicle with winter tires or to carry snow chains or snow socks in certain mountain areas (Alps, Corsica, Massif Central, Jura, Pyrenees, Vosges). In Cantal, this rule applies to the entire road network.

The house is ideal for groups of friends or family, families with children, or couples. Parties are not allowed.

Weekend rentals are possible (minimum 3 nights).
