With its 4 luxurious bedrooms and spacious living area, we’re delighted to offer you this cozy retreat and hope that our home—with its high-quality woodwork—will charm you just as it does us every time we stay here.<br><br>Just 20 minutes from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, near La Toussuire, Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters, at the foot of the Col de la Croix de Fer and in the heart of the Sybelles Ski Area (310 km of slopes). Here you’ll find the charm and tranquility of mountain villages while enjoying all the amenities. Sherpa, a bakery, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, shops, and the tourist office are open year-round.<br><br>Our “Refuge des Aiguilles” is a duplex located on the 2nd and top floor of the “Les Aiguilles” chalet. <br>Built in 2021, the apartment meets the latest quality and insulation standards and has been rated 4* by the SIVAV (Syndicat Intercommunal des Vallées de l’Arvan et des Villards) in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.<br><br>The accommodation:<br>This chalet’s location is highly desirable, right in the heart of the village in a quiet neighborhood: a bakery and restaurant are just 50 meters away. Access to the slopes, ski school, childcare center, and tourist office is approximately 600 meters away. You can also take advantage of a free shuttle right outside the residence to get around.<br><br>All the bedrooms are located on the “first floor” of the duplex: <br><br>The 70 m² first floor consists of 4 bedrooms:<br>• 2 double bedrooms (11 m²), each with a large closet (hanging space and shelves) and a TV, featuring a queen-size bed (160 cm). One of the bedrooms opens onto a 12 m² terrace,<br>• master bedroom (13 m²), with an attached toilet and shower room, large closet (hanging space/shelves), TV, and a queen-size bed (160 cm),<br>• Bedroom sleeping 4. <br>2 bunk beds measuring 90×190 cm and 2 beds measuring 90×200 m built into the old wooden walls, like a luxury hideaway for kids (young and old alike!). Large storage closet (hanging space / shelves) + under-bed drawers.<br><br>A separate toilet, a shower room, and a bathroom with a bathtub are also available for everyone’s convenience.<br>A laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and extra freezer is also available in the apartment.<br><br>Upstairs, we have a 60 m² open-concept space featuring the kitchen, dining room, and living room.<br><br>The kitchen offers all modern conveniences and is fully equipped with: 2 ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, induction cooktop, full-size refrigerator, drip coffee maker and Nespresso machine, electric kettle, juicer, blender, raclette machine, fondue set, crêpe pan, and waffle maker.<br><br>The terrace, which is over 10 m² and accessible from the living room, is fully equipped and naturally sheltered by the chalet’s magnificent roof structure, allowing you to enjoy meals outdoors on sunny days. You can also simply relax while admiring the view!<br><br>Books, comic books, and board games are available for you to enjoy during quieter moments.
